    I was lucky to be Harish's classmate/benchmate/friend during 1996 to98 at govt arts college Tvpm and was also luckly enough to hear his song at the tender age of 15 or 16 yrs...moved my heart when I was crying inside badly for loss of a personal item. It took 20 years for me to find him back after we lost touch on 1998-99. To my shock, he still remebers me and told about incidents that even I forgot. Such a humble down to earth person.. long live Harish and your music.

    Born and brought up in Srirangam, Memories rushing in like flow of Kaveri during Aadi Matham. We used to play cricket, marbles or kili danda in the inner 2xfour streets of srirangam while hearing to this song from distance speakers on the Gopuram combined with smell of Srirangam sand, evening rasam from nearby houses playing with friends heaven on earth, those feeling come rushing into me, and the drums from Srirangam temple mentioning the arrival of Lord Ranganatha Utsava murthy with elephant and veda gosha, its a heavenly feeling you can experience all this when you listen to this Devotional song

      By confused I only mean internally. As in thinking I had a pretty good grasp of what my tastes were. I’m most definitely going to enjoy more of this type of music and put it into a regular rotation. I think I got here from listening to a ton of beards of harmony..sreejith the beard? Heard some covers from them and liked it so much that I listened to madari?...liked it so much that I ended up here after a bunch of others.

To top it off, I heard you Harish and it as a fitting tribute to Ranganathaswamy that you gave and it has made my day! Thank you, so so much. I am a big fan of Agam and have listened to many of your performances before. But today listening to Sri Rangapura Vihara was indeed the best way for me to pay my respects to Lord Ranganathaswamy. May HE bless you with a long and fruitful musical career and people around the world get a taste of Carnatic music in a modern format presented by you and your team.

    with all due respects to the singer and his band, main reverence goes to azhwar and shri muthuswamy dikshidhar.. the composers of this brilliant prayer hymn on lord ranganatha. the vibration all of us are feeling is mainly due to that, as they composed these in that state of oneness with the lord.. and the singer found his inner connectivity with them , great that he shares that blissful state with us all.. pranams to all those great souls.. Vishwam Vishnu

    • @goofybits8248
      @goofybits8248 Před 4 lety +9

      You not only disrespected these amazing talents, but the Dikshidhar and Azhwar by your blind deification of these legends. As with their talents and vouched by the immense body of work they left behind, it can well be expected they would have felt more honored to learn that these worthy successors used their work to create even more amazing work.
      Had heard many versions of this, some claiming to be technically more correct! But none of them could come near this and provided the "Vibrations" you felt! And that didn't come out of void!
      Appreciate and give respect, honestly to where it deserves! Instead, such blind devotion and attribution may only make yours and a few ultra conservatives who fears to accept anything new momentary sense satisfaction, but nothing more! To many others like, it shows you in a very poor light.
