Class 62 Commissioning

Our Basic Police Academy Class 62 has just one week left in the academy before they transition to field training. Today the class of 24 were commissioned as Arlington officers as they have met the requirements and standards to be sworn in.

What happened to law-enforcement knowing in a upholding laws. And not egos and feelings….
I can bet you $100 that at least three of those cops are completely unaware of the first fourth or fifth amendment.
Basic fundimental laws of the land.
And yet tou having them signing an oath to uphold something that they don’t even know… how does that work

What’s the point of signing a oath if you can just blatantly disregard it
Or better yet ‘not even know what it inquires
The constitution, The citizens bill of rights, and the basic fundamental laws of our land.

Too bad you let them sign an oath swearing to uphold and defend the Constitution….
Yet they don’t even know the basic fundamental rights of the citizens they're inflicting themselves upon. Cop’s read aloud the 5th amendment almost daily when it comes to their miranda warning. But believes it only applies to the suspect once they're arrested. Nor do they have barely any respect for the fourth amendment or what all the first amendment entails….
How you gonna enforce laws when you dont know them and dont need to know them.
Power without accountability and supervision almost always results in tyranny. Too bad police unions internal investigation and qualified immunity dont give a damn about the cictims they create.
Better be damn sure they know freedom of the press the right to privacy papers and effects, freedom of speech and the right to remain silent. Especially because when there’s seemingly bo victim theyre hardheadedly bound to make one, even if that means they have to make up a crime. There should be no need to conspire if you just uphold and obey the laws already put into place…

I have found that those who are quick to say “ racist” are the most racist . You know nothing about each of these officers all you want to do is soak in hatred. I feel sorry for you
