- Testing out the new BXpanded Ripper I recently got on the Kubota BX23s. Had some (and still have more!) tough stumps that were all mangled together on the back hill. Certainly a job the regular 12" bucket would struggle with.

Great video for the Ripper. Haven't uses mine yet and we have a dozen old growth Doug Fir stumps to pull. Looks like each one will take quite a while even with my B2650. After watching your video I am heading out to give it a go.
Nice! Depends on the stump, but, many of the pine stumps I have pulled come out no problem (if not encased in ledge) sometime the 12" ones come out faster than a taprooted 6" one. Its all a gamble!
It's like diggin' a hole with a screwdriver sometimes. Time to go get out the bar. (or go to the bar). Then invite all your buddies with backhoes out for a big BBQ.
Orders take so long from Bxpanded but it’s pretty good stuff. Bought 1,800 of stuff from them so far. My ripper was just ordered last week.
I'd like to see how you put the Quick-On bucket connector on!

Ha yeah, but it always impresses me what it will accomplish. I do plan on getting some bigger equipment if jobs keep going like they are next season.

What diameter are the bucket pins on that machine and what is the internal width of the bucket I’m looking to fit one there quick attach plate to one of our ditch witch trencher backhoes
Great demonstration. How far down do you think the Talon could dig a trench? My BX does not have the thumb.

It would be basically the length of the shank, since the coupler/dog bone is larger than it. I believe it is around 1' in length.
If you'll tap that geezer on the shin with the bucket that's standing too close and giving suggestions, he'll get back out of the way! Man, that drives me crazy!

I need one of those badly, I'd have already ordered one if they didn't require 4-6 weeks to deliver it. That's insane. I'm going to have to build my own I guess. How thick is the actual blade? Any chance you want to part with yours?

Good stuff. What does that ripper aprox run for? Can you throw it on any tractor backhoe?

How much better than bucket for stumps in your opinion?
Definitely helps a lot on larger stumps where you need the breaking force to remove their roots prior to working the main stump. I have gotten quite a bit of use out of this attachment around my house and on some jobs.
