This honestly Even if Batman works with the police, he isn't the police. Superman isn't a government legal force either. So it's more the governments fault for not giving Joker the death penalty after 30 breakouts and half a million killed
@@austinhobbesandjustinthe joker is mentally Ill. He can’t be put to death because he is unwell, that’s why he is put through treatments. And the reason why they don’t just up and give up is because, at least in some story lines, the joker has moments of lucidity. Moments where he is almost himself and he isn’t this horrible monster. And because he has been shown to have those small brief moments it means there is still “hope” for him and that means no death penalty
@@austinhobbesandjustin Yup. That and Arkham Asylum’s fault for being the WORST psychiatric ward put to paper. Its fails as a prison facility and literally everyone breaking out like its a 30 minute time out. It fails even further as a mental facility with it NEVER REFORMING ANY of its patients (which should be its number one job). In general I’d argue against the death penalty, but all else equal it seems like Arkham Asylum only makes patients worse. If that’s the only other option maybe death is a mercy.
This is why Batman doesn’t cross that line. Typically any time Batman has crossed the line, either he becomes an evil conqueror or the universe itself gets put at risk. Batman knows that if he kills, he can’t trust himself to know when to stop.
All that technology and money and connections plus world class martial arts training and having a HUGE foothold in your own city and mix that with killing intent? Yeah he’d be and has been a MENACE
That is his own sake though, he doesn't get to decide that will be the outcome of everyone else. He'll Deadpool and Punisher crosses the line and yet they have not become evil conquerors who murder innocent people left and right. Even then they admit they got issues but they have lines too.
@@dewolf123: Every time Batman crossed that line, he became a being that pretty much erased humanity. The Batman who laughs, among other things. Deadpool is immortal and pretty much does whatever he wants. Punisher isn't rich, he isn't creative, and he fights with guns for the most part. Batman is rich, has an arsenal, is capable of multiple methods of combat, is good at disarming enemies, and plans ahead. In the Batman who laughs, he methodically erased the entire JL and his universe. He was so powerful that he basically made the most powerful beings in the Universe, his "bitches".
@GOKUISTHEBOMB To me that storyline is kind of horseshite and it's non-canon anyway. In truth all the Justice League would have stopped him in a heartbeat. It's not like Omni-Man vs the knock off Justice League because he's a super-powered being at least, with Batsy he's just some normal rich dude with muscles and ninja moves while the others can easily obliterate him in a blip like Flash.
When Diana says “get up Kal” it gives me the vibe of the girl who instigates tf out of the fight between her man and a random dude but then hides behind her man WHILE still instigatin

im in agreement with both of them. even the justice system has a death penalty. the problem with thier system is the writers who refuse to create new villains or challenges. its always a madman who wants to kill or destroy indiscrimminately.
Yeah unfortunately they are really too lazy or greedy to constantly capitalize off popular characters which unfortunately means they don't give other ones a chance. At least Marvel gave Iron Man a shot now he's gained more attention when he used to be a lesser know character. This is why Marvel is ahead of DC, they can change things up but DC won't let go of their money maker
Big issue with the writing is that Superman says "some criminals need to die" when we've already seen that he doesn't stop at "some." He might have a point if he attempted to be fair and only go after those who weren't worth saving anymore
@ButterBall Yeah they didn't build him up properly, if they wanted to they should have shown he's willing to kill innocent ppl if they disagree with his some of his methods like he did with Billy. At least them he would solidify his status as a full villain
@@dewolf123 or they could've just made it a gray area. Like make it so the player can decide who they believe is in the right rather than make it obvious who the villain is
I side with Batman: in order to save the cities lost, they need the owner. Yes, I understand Cyborg is the Justice League’s walking computer but Brainiac has been doing this since he was a baby and has more knowledge than any of them. In fact, I think more harm would come to the Injustice Earth if the Regime took Brainiac’s ship, making them universal threats
I mean in the alternate endings it's revealed killing Brainiac will cause the ship to deactivate, crashing to the ground and/or destroying the cities. So Batman was 100% in the right. Kill Brainiac AFTER figuring out how to take full control of the ship
I side with neither. They’re both assholes. The High Councilor killed Green Arrow, Shazam, Batwoman and many other heroes, while Batman’s stubborn adherence to his no-killing rule is one of the reasons why Superman turned bad to begin with.
@@eon1014 Bro if Batman starts to kill then it will be far worse than Superman. Might I need to remind you that Batman is a fucking sociopath and he has anger issues as well, the only thing holding him back is his no kill rule. Look at what happened in the universes where Batman starts to kill peeps, owlman and the Batman who laughs they literally take over the whole multiverse and every reality they touch. Batman is right that it's not that easy, once shit hits the fan and that's the end. Bruce is very self-aware and knows what will come next.
@@razorback12701 Not every universe where Batman kills has him going crazy. "Batman Begins" and "Dawn of Justice" are proof of that. Flashpoint Batman could count too, but that version of Batman isn’t Bruce. Also, I would like to remind you that while Owlman and The Batman who Laughs both tried to destroy or take over the Multiverse, they were still defeated in the end. Also, his whole "once you start killing you’re irredeemable" philosophy is both stupid and hypocritical, considering that many of his allies (Alfred, Red Hood, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn, most of the GCPD, etc.) have killed people before and most of them didn’t turn evil because of it.
Idk about you but considering how easy it is to manipulate Superman via joker and to extent Wonder Woman, he’s the LAST person I’d want to control a ship built by the villian who destroyed his HOME planet. Cyborg is smart but he’s not brainiac, for all we knew, brainiac could take control over cyborg.

Kal’s subtle apology to Hal is a sweet nod to who he once was, but I doubt it ultimately changed anything. If anything, it’s a greater credit to Hal that he could continue on thereafter as a hero, testifying to that earned green ring.
Superman thirst for control got out of hand... Had they dealt with the joker, or more maniacs like him sooner it wouldn't... No nvm... I just recalled the justice lords. But seriously those cities need to schedule dead penalties for those villains. Maybe with a superhero as a watchman that it happens without trouble
@Bointga I can agree to that if they went the realistic route or at least exiled them to the Phantom Zone, however they have to keep them alive for the sake of more stories and comic books, if they are all dead Batman has no more purpose and unfortunately they don't want to utilize lesser known DC heroes.

is nobody gonna talk about how nice that green lantern suit is?
Batman knew Superman was about to get hostile and did not hesitate,my guy always strapped 🤣
People really don’t understand that Batman killing his enemies really is not simple at all, everyone says he’d be better off killing his enemies but if he does he’ll just spiral out of control because of his pent up anger, and when you kill someone once it only gets easier, look at how Superman murdered billy batson, if Batman kills then he’ll be no better than Superman or his enemies
That’s basically what Batman who laughs is all about
He's admitted he's mentally fcked up so it's more for himself because crossing the line is something his brain literally cannot afford or he'll become the Bat Who Laughs. See Punisher does this route but he does not harm any innocents or kills them or heroes no matter how much they are against his methods he said himself he'll turn himself in if he accidentally kills a hero or innocent person so at least Frank is more mentally sound.

*Superman:* Yeah, good idea Bruce.
This honestly
Even if Batman works with the police, he isn't the police.
@Austin, Hobbes and Justin you think he would just get out of the death penalty
@@austinhobbesandjustin Oh yea, never thought about that
@@austinhobbesandjustin Yup.
Super man said this madness has to stop Bruce 🤣🤣🤣
This is why Batman doesn’t cross that line. Typically any time Batman has crossed the line, either he becomes an evil conqueror or the universe itself gets put at risk. Batman knows that if he kills, he can’t trust himself to know when to stop.
Bruh soldiers kill terrorists all the time
If batman is so weak he shouldn’t be a hero
Not Bruce literally defying Diana's orders the second she gives them 😂

Why would he? He can’t get near the dude he knows that😂 firestorm MADE a kryptonite that can permanently depower a kryptonian you think supes really want that smoke?😂
im in agreement with both of them. even the justice system has a death penalty.
the problem with thier system is the writers who refuse to create new villains or challenges. its always a madman who wants to kill or destroy indiscrimminately.

Hit him with the “stay down” from injustice 1
@@razorback12701
Not every universe where Batman kills has him going crazy.

Superman demonstrates exactly why Batman has a no killing rule. Because it all too easily goes from "one life to save billions" to "Anyone I caught Jaywalking on a day I'm feeling moody deserved it"
No it doesn't. If he killed joker injustice would have never happened. Batman loves joker more than his best friend.
