"From Tier 3 college to 40 LPA" honestly sounds so clickbaity.
Well here's a small instance I'd like to share. Back in 2007, one of my friends who completed his BE in Electronics from a so-called "Tier 3" college got through in Infosys. He worked on a project for Apple. Apple then hired him in 2010 and asked him to relocate to the US. The only difference is back in those days people who got this kind of opportunity weren't putting things on CZcams and Social Media claiming its an exception. Truth is today - comparatively - with so much advancement in Internet and Social media and even devices like PCs and Laptops with higher configurations, it's not difficult at all to start learning to code, to send cold emails to companies looking for job ops and even connect with top folks in startups through platforms like LinkedIn and Angellist to get an interview scheduled.
Pranjal's story is impressive but what I'm implying is his college has nothing to do with his current placements. He has worked with Infosys which helped him gain experience and that led him to bag opportunities at GS and Amazon.
I lost 3 Interview opportunities from startups and other good companies ( for packages 6-10lpa ) in the past week , just because of 90 days notice period ....
m working in a MNC ( mass rec. ) rn , with a support task, no learning .. its been 11 months , + will have to serve notice period if I resign. Funny thing is that these companies actually scheduled my interview , but later , just a day before the interview , they said they'll keep my profile on hold until i have served 30 days of my NP , even though the same companies have 90 days of notice period for their employees ... they do all this so that one cannot leave so easily ..

On the last part, amazon is flexible with 3 months notice period. I had a 3 months notice period before joining amazon and only resigned after I got the official offer and they were okay with that. So, didn't think that would be a worry at amazon.

Guys, stop making packages as your primary motivation to work in a company. A lot of companies do not provide the appropriate culture to last long in software development field. Embrace culture over money. Always. You will eventually make money, a lot of it, but the culture will help you stay in the field.

Definitely this videos are real motivation and roadmap defined but sometimes I feel this videos are clickbaits because you can see he is saying "I was last bencher and I used to have low attendance even the CGPA then why Nishant Bhaiya is not asking how he started learning DSA, how he was able to solve that much questions he's saying to HR & Recruiters. It's good to motivate but real content matters alot for we students.Hope you will include this from next time.

Hi Nishant i request you please ask the person you are interviewing how they have prepared for the position and what roadmap did they follow.
I belong to tier 5 college in UP Ambedkar Nagar, done mechanical engg got off campus placed in Infosys 3.6LPA as a system engineer. There was no college campus placement in my clg. Hats off to you bhaii bcoz some very rare people have that potential to go from 3 LPA+ to 20+ in product based. Thats very difficult.

I am employed at a Product Based Company, when applying to a Faang company or other companies which are paying upwards of 30+ lpa, is DSA & OOP enough or do they ask questions of Web Development and require such projects on resume?
