Awesome🌹 This is such an easy clutch bag to make. Your choice of fabric😊. The size is just right. I have been making leather bags and now will use this size for making some. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber 🌹
And easy shortcut is to measure and cut your interfacing first, then fuse it to the fabric. Then cut along the line. No need to measure again or fuss with pins.
Hey hun, so you will need a tape measure (or a ruler if you don't have one), rotary cutter (this is optional- scissors are just as good, the only reason I have the cutter is because I DIY a lot so its faster to use), cutting mat (this is mainly beneficial if you use a rotary cutter but it isn't necessary if you use scissors), fabric of your choice (its good to use a heavy outer material such as upholstery material), heavy duty interfacing (if you're using thinner material), clasp to fasten the bag (I used a magnetic clasp)- if you use this type of clasp then you will need pliers to fasten it. Then I used a sewing machine to connect everything together x
At 2:17 I drew out the shape for the flap. After I did that I cut it off camera. At 2:24 when I cut the rounded edges on the sides, I had already cut the top part. Sorry about the confusion
Ooooh that sounds lovely... And would look good with straps too! I don't have a tutorial specifically for straps but I have a couple of other bag diys where I added straps to the bag (so even though the bag design is different, the application of the strap will be the same)... Hope it turns out well for you x
This the most easy clutch i ever made. Tq for showing the technique and u made my day 😘

I love that fabric floral patton. Where can I purchase this please . X
I purchased it at a local rag market a few years ago-I don't think they sell it anymore as I haven't seen it since x
I feel like a step is missing after measuring the top center. When did you cut the top flap to shape?
At 2:17 I drew out the shape for the flap. After I did that I cut it off camera. At 2:24 when I cut the rounded edges on the sides, I had already cut the top part. Sorry about the confusion
