Problably small details but heres in my mind.
Make skins unique dialouge, like past time character dialouge for each kostume and different voice such as hanzo.
Making invasion mode third person and make move freely since backgrounds already finished.
Dragon crystals should be have a tournament to gained and each tournament you pay small price as mk koin or dragon crystal, to make it limits such as only a specific hour to play.
Make kustomizations as you can make your own hybrid instead just one gear which is most of them barely noticable. Make mk11 premium unlock everythin and no pay for kombat pack since you get premium.
Gave extra modes in online or single, such as test your luck.
Tower challengers, Secret boss endurance, give invasion mode random names as npc's since they got alot models which is possible.
Add actual sub boss as bigger monster.

My whole problem is a 70$ base price game should not have a fortnite shop, or at the very least the currency shouldn’t only be buyable, and should be given out in generous amounts making it so if you grind for it you can get everything and I mean everything.

Rather than just keeping or bringing back what ppl love they just completely scrap it or poorly rehash it and call it something new when it’s clearly not.
That's what pisses me off. Tekken and SF still have everything that keeps their game true. All they really do is update the graphics/ mechanics and add some new characters to the franchise.
MK wipes the slate clean with EVERY entry! Every MK plays completely different from one another.

4. Have a Mystery Kharacter as an unlock in Invasions
5. Allow 4 Seasonal Fatalities to be equipped like Faction kills
The 10 dragon krystals would be useless to me. I farmed last season so Im at a very high level. I barely get xp now. Me problem but they definitely should give us 50 for playing 5 kombat league matches everyday like mk11.
Most have their characters XP MAXED, besides Khamelion. I have ideas for fixes;; but I am nobody. & WB has shown no communication about caring. Even content creators don't reply..... It's just click bait.
i played this game for almost 100 hours and only unlocked one fatality the xp grind is so slow

There's a big difference between somewhat of a grind and the game feeling like a second job. MK1 is the latter.

Personally I think that we should be able to unlock skins for free. Not colour pallettes, real actual Skins. And if we have enough of those, then they can bring up paid skins

If your doing a weekly Dragon Crystals challenge it has to be 250 Dragon Crystals per week so you have 1000 Dragon Crystals to buy a new Premium Skin every month. If they make 3-5 Skins per month they still make 3-4X that amount
I think this game needs more content like a story expansion and it definitely needs more skins. They also need to chill a bit on the prices.
What they really need is new game modes.
Story expansion is just gonna be for temporary gain in getting people back in and the same cycle of the game getting trashed.
Also, game balance needs to be looked into properly

Thank you. I see clips of so many people hating and bashing the game and not even trying to come up with some ideas/solutions to suggest to the devs.
I literally tried to play a few matches today in hopes it would work. My first 2 matches said 43ping and the 2nd was about 60ping. The moment I accepted the match the first 2 rounds had no sound and the ping jumped to 150+. I lost both matches and ranked down from Grandmaster. The same thing happened in the 2nd match. I returned MK1 to GameStop because it’s not worth my time playing a game that literally doesn’t work. Been playing since the 90s and I’m sadly disappointed with this game and all its non addressed problems.
It'll always be best just to buy these games not day one.
I'm sure itll get better tho, hopefully.
My suggestions to make MK1 far better than it already is:
• Fix online Netcode and DSyncs. It's unstable and get 10f of lag on most KL sets.
• Buff all bottom 10 characters to above mid tier like Ashrah, Geras, Johnny, Kenshi and Raiden are who are able to use any Kameo they want because they are well rounded and solid without them.
Buff all Kameos to the strength and utility of Khameleon, especially Tremor. Look at Goro's Regen times and look at Tremor having to spend full kameo with 24 SECONDS of regeneration of kameo meter making it worthless to pick him up for most characters while Kameos like Stryker, Lao, Sareena and Khameleon exsist with near instant regen. This helps all characters use more playstyles and use all kameos to boost specific tools or cover weaknesses and makes every character able to play any playstyle they wish.
• Increase XP payouts for all modes by 4X at least. Show us where every skin is unlocked and show every unlock in character mastery (dont black them out) this way it's not grindy & feels like you get something for your hours of time spent. It also works as motivation to stick with Invasions because it says my 3 favorite Skins are in there in "Season IV of Invasions Mode".
• add character and Kameo customization. You can give more skins and give every character additional Gear pieces so we can actually customize the characters more than a different mask. Nitara is a great example of a customizable character with a good gear piece(her wings changing color with her clothing)
• Add Pro Tour Skins to fund competitive scene at Majors and Final Kombat.
• Fix Frame data in practice mode so when you cancel from strings into specials on block it shows hit/block advantage frame data correctly, also when you have AI set to reversal poke or buttons or special it doesn't show frame data and is blank, this needs fixed.
Thats most of what's wrong and can be fixed in a few months.
If u have to ask just a few months after it's launch then yes . If this game and folks feelings towards it , is like the end of a two year cycle or that last agonizing four year cycle from mk 11 then.... yes its pretty rough . 😂

Here’s a very simple idea for Warner Bros. if they need more money to try and get out of bankruptcy:
Just frickin’ sell both Netherrealm Studios and the Mortal Kombat franchise over to another major company that actually cares for their customers and products, including video games.
It’s really that simple, just hand them over to a company that’s actually passionate about what they make. Big examples like Microsoft (not just for a Killer Instinct crossover) and maybe Epic Games, or just any others other than WB really.
Same thing should also be done with both Konami and the Silent Hill franchise, should the new games and other stuff from SH fail miserably (looking at you already, SH: Ascension)

For me they seriously need to fix the customization system, I don’t mind having just one gear piece but they need to give the dlc characters and some of the other characters more skins and they need to also add variation slots
Injustice 2 - 5 gear pieces, lots of colour palettes and premier skins.
MK11 - 3 gear pieces, lots of skins with a few colour palettes.
MK1 - 1 gear piece, few skins with lots of colour palettes (lazy reskins).
The degradation of customisation in NRS games needs to be studied.

I miss those games, where characters that were locked and you had to play story mode or playing something in order to unlock them. Thats how I feel it should be with the ones you got to buy. That would've made the story alot better and redoing the ending of the story mode. Plus I don't like how the whole gameplay, how the combos with the cameos are laid out. It just isn't meshing right. Plus like you said, certain fighters just doesn't have other inputs that extends to the combo. So it feels like you have to find another move to input as the replacement. Usually you can figure out what combos and specials can go together without having to keep going into the move list. On MK11, you could play around in practice, just putting combos and specials and stuff together and get a great combo percentage. Without looking into the move list. This game (MK1) tho, feels like all the moves are scattered everywhere and you have to grind your whole life, trying to put the puzzle together and the cameo being added. Makes it no better. Trust me, I got the gameplay down pack. But who wants to spend their life, trying to figure out how the whole gameplay system works.
One simple way to fix the game is to add Scorpion into the game as his own original character and not as a skin.
... And do a retcon of him being a Kombat Kid. That was stupid.
The roster feels very empty without him, and this needs to be fixed.
They need to listen to us more and let us know what is going on if they can’t fix this game then after the second pack they should stop and either get away from WB or see if another developer can do a better job then they can with MK2. I grew up with this series I don’t want to see it end so soon.

Lao hat and Stryker grenades are both counterable. Every character is counterable with built in flaws. From Kenshi with Sento out to Johnny's plus frames being highs. If you know how to capitalize on your best options and know when to take a change at the highest change of success like Duck OS or Fuzzy Guard you will counter every character.
98% of the overhead and low 50/50's are completely Fuzzyable and most are reactable.
When opponent sets Lao hat to do a JIP HTB or overhead move, use a Kameo with Ambush and call it right where they set hat and your Kameo takes Lao hat off screen and lets you Upblock punish their overhead for a full combo. Scorpion Kameo flame move is the best one that works with most characters.
Stryker grenades are D2 tradable in your favor and frame advantage doing 14% to Stryker player and only taking 5-6%

It's the newest game in the franchise, so no, it won't die, no matter how bad the state of the game is. The player base will fall off eventually though, by a large amount. NRS is refusing to communicate with their fan base. The game has had desync issues for over a month now, and still, no fix. They released a "patch" to fix it, but it didn't work. It's not a good look for this game. With competitor games out as well, like Street Fighter 6, and Tekken 8, the player base will die significantly. Some people may leave and never come back. They are tired of dealing with this games problems.

I wouldn’t say that MK1 is dying yet, there’s still some Potential in it and I Enjoy the Game, however I will admit that it’s not Living Up to the Hype like SF6 or Tekken 8 currently are, even the Slow Updates just make the how Game Mix and I’m starting to think this is a Similar Case to SFV, I just wish like Spider-Man 2, MK1 needed more time and another Year of Development, it would need to make some major Improvements, Changes, and Mortifications to Fix it.

I have looked at all the Fighting Games Past, Present and Upcoming and MK1 is the Best Game. There is an issue of a Middleman with production of Mortal Kombat which Capcom, Bandai, Sega, SNK and others dont have to deal with at the Scale of NRS. WB, a front Running Investor, will not part with Money for Fixes easily and Fixes even Minor ones Cost Money. NRS and WB are at Loggerheads.
And also They need to add more game modes like konquest mode test your luck stage fatalities and more
Puzzle Kombat, chess Kombat, motor Kombat, 2 on 2, 8 player tournament, and an arcade mode similar to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition should happen for MK1.

I agree with your points brusk if MK1 does this these would be huge improvements to the game, this game is probably the most fun I’ve had in a NRS game since Injustice 2, some improvement I would like to see is the speed of kameo meter sped up a little more so that they can be called out more often similar to khameleon, changes to invasions adding a map to keep track of all the locations and even a fast travel feature to return to certain parts of the map along with some unique modifications to matches to be interesting, and XP Increases through weekly challenges or XP Weekends

The first point I completely disagree and here’s why. I bought the premium version that costed $117 and yet all I get is extra characters for free and a skin that isn’t even exclusive so I still technically paid for it. In mortal kombat x and 11 when you bought the premium edition then you got EXCLUSIVE skins, skin packs instead of still having to pay for skins, things prerelease, and some ad ons. With mortal kombat 1 all I got was 5 day early access, a skin for free (not exclusive), and 1200 dragon crystals. If the base game cost $70 plus buying the Johnny skin for $10 and the dragon crystals for $10 plus kombat pack one $20 then I could’ve saved myself $7 dollars, how tf do people get the same benefits like me for $7 less because they bought it individually?
MK is a fighting movie/comic book. Whereas Tekken is like anime/manga.
Take away Shinjinko meditation or make meditation a shielded move🛡 with heavy armor. Also Shinjinko need more moves from a character he mimics.

My biggest issue with people ranting on this game is it's like okay yea I get it the game is far from perfect and yes the game can heavily improve but man to make it sound like the game is so bad to where it's dying is completely stupid I mean street fighter 6 also has monetization with the costumes and character creator yet no one talks about that I just keep seeing how the monetization in mk1 is bad which yes admittedly it is but we need to be fair here and if your gonna say well street fighter 6 has more online features therefore it gets a pass then thats so dumb again as a life long fan of mk I love the game and I still enjoy it but I can agree it needs improvments but trust me there have been worse launches for fighting games "street fighter 5" "marvel vs capcom infinite" and "dead or alive 6" but yea I still love the game but I agree it needs alot of improvments

I think the reason it’s mostly negative is because the things that are wrong with this game are not necessarily things that can be salvaged. The bastardized characters( scorpion, Nitara, Havik) and the complete lack of anything fun in single player combined with their inability to communicate has resulted in me just wanting this game to die and hope the next is better. I bought the collectors edition so I’m allowed to say whatever I want about this game. Lol

We need more moves in everybody movelist. They clearly held back moves for them to be solely for the invasion boss version of them like as a subzero player myself I found it weird he didn't have a spear throw seeing as he make ice spears in so many of his animations then bomb invasion boss subzero has a ice spear projectile

How Id fix mk1
-more offline single player modes
-nrs being silent and should communicate with community
-add dragon crystals in Kombat league and invasion rewards lower how bad the micro transactions
-buff character xp
-invasions
-more customization options
Single player mode should have an individual tower for Test Your Might, and there *definitely* needs to be more customization options.

All of these are great points it's just all yknow based around increasing the reward for playing the game. A lot of issues for players is that you just can't do anything rewarding. Anything cool you can get, you can only get it by spending real money
5. Make dragon krystals UNLOCKABLE, instead of having to buy it in real money...
4. More kustomization. MK 11 had 3 per kharacter, just 1 isn't enough. Esp. If they want replayability.

The game is boring and bare bones but they made a ton of $!Fans just have to keep speaking up about it and speak with your dollars! 💵 I want Onaga & realms, not marvel multiverse 💩 Not only is the game broken & endless micro transactions, but the story was a REHASH! I've been playing mk1 in bursts and during those bursts I like to do kombat league and I can't say I've experienced the desync issue. I dunno man

I played him in kombat league. I was like this kinda cool, like I heard of him and then he T-bags, fatalities me first game he wins and when I won the set he rage quit. He's a scrub that zones, I chased him the whole set, but if you're patient and walk him down, he'll make himself lose.

There are some games that have a double XP week or triple XP week they need to do something like that
