Excluding "Gateway," "Ignition / Ascendance" is where I kicked things off for "The Loop." Back then, my idea of what the album should sound like was pretty vague. But I definitely wanted to keep that massive, ample sound I got with "Gateway." I was going for a vibe that felt like the start of a story, a journey... Additionally, I envisioned "Ignition" as a concert introduction. We have yet to play it live, but I can't wait to hear my drummer smash those toms!

I can't even explain how much I loved these first two tracks in the Album. It was so cool having ignition immediately transition into ascendance without giving the listener time to process the instrumental magic going on. Also Secrets transition into Powerless so well because I saw you say something about a hidden track so I experimented a bit and I am happy I did!
I dont k iw what happened, but as i am doing my after work paperwork amd listening to this fantastic piece, it felt as if my brain literally teleported to a other realm of existence.
