I left Kharkiv last week. Been studying there for 5 years. This left me in tears… To think the city that’s been my home for half a decade is nothing but ruins breaks my heart in a thousand pieces. I pray everyday for this war to stop so everyone who loves Ukraine can go back
The world is with you. Beside supporting with arms two days ago the small country of the Netherlands collected in one day 106 million Euro for human aid and i am sure other countries are doing the same.

@@user-ny7bt5jg6f Unfortunately some people are too old and / or sick. My landlady for example is living with her elderly parents. It would be dangerous for them to leave since they’re all fragile. Some people maybe live in places that are still quiet. All my young friends have already left for Poland.

There was no civilian evacuation of Baghdad because it was not necessary. Civilian areas were never targeted. No starvation, and the power stayed on.
