damn bro. the content, the editing, the music. as cringe as it may sound, this is a piece of art and it brought tears to my eyes.
Every one of his videos is a piece of art
Not cringe at all, totally relatable!
You don't have to undercut how you are feeling if you know it's true and want to share :)
really good video indeed ;)
I'm starting to hate the word âcringeâ. Express what you think, who gives a fuck about others
A fantastic video. "There's no such thing as strangers when a stranger says hello." kermit the frog
Hey Noa nice to see you here
Muppet's Christmas Carol - great taste haha
Wow seeing you here threw my head through a loop. You're only allowed to watch gamedev videos!
I was almost crying at the end of the video. It's much more than just about a dinner at the restaurant. It shows how similar we all are, how much in common we have with people around, how beautiful the world is and how priceless it is to share your love with people without expecting to get smth back! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Almost? Damn I barely made it through the start o the meal
me toođ, such a wonderful memories
Priceless ? This probably cost 3,000 dollars đđ
@@mathewsalas2586 rightđ
and that right there is how you get hooked up
As a chef, I felt the Hospo guy in the feels. We spend so much time perfecting our craft, working, serving on others & usually compared with other industries, the $$ isn't considered high. The days we do get off, these incredible places aren't always open, so when we do get to experience things like this, it is incredible.
Yes!
i started to cry just because you literally create art, in real life with these beautiful people and here on youtube, thank you for sharing this masterpiece!
Just as If your words came out of my mouth!
Something so beautiful yet inspiring in these videos he creates.
That's exactly what I feel in each video! It's just satisfying
Honestly THANK YOU BECAUSE I ESCAPED MY WORLD for a few minutes and got a beautiful slice of yours â€ïž
So true đŠâ€
I wish there were more people as free spirited as you. People like you makes people like me creep out of their shells. I am just six minutes into the video but I wish I was one among those strangers. I need people like you around me who would make to get out and enjoy what is out there and what I actually want to enjoy but don't have the courage to do.
such a beautiful comment!! I feel just the same! â€â€â€
Why not try becoming that person for yourself? :) I mean no disrespect but I used to think like that a lot and honestly just let life pass me by without ever doing the things I really wanted to do. I'm not saying you have to do a complete 180 on your personality - it's not about becoming someone else. You can play around a little though, imagine what "a free spirited person" would say to you, how they would act and integrate that into your own self talk. Again it's not about becoming someone else, although I do believe that if you yearn for people like that ultimately youre yearning for a way of being that you already possess deep within yourself! You're kinda yearning for yourself if that makes sense? That was my case anyway. And that's the whole point of trying to integrate another type of self talk, it really is about advocating for yourself to... well to yourself lol
Also, it might seem kinda unfair but that's actually the best way to attract those precious "free spirited people"
Anyway I hope you don't take this the wrong way, it just feels weird to read your comment, it's like reading myself a few years ago. Good luck with everything :)
The courage will be built by doing it. This way you learn slowly that there is actually nothing to be afraid of. This courage will slowly convert into confidence. It's a muscle that needs to be trained.
Would you have said yes when a stranger on a street asks you to join for an adventure?
@@taka9466 I would have said no which makes me sad to think about :(
This brought me to tears. I felt an overwhelming sense of relief and joy especially living through a pandemic and having everything shut down. I know everything has opened up again, but now there is this fear to go up to strangers because I'm afraid to be in their personal space. I love sparking up conversations and learning about other people. This was such a nice reminder and motivation to start doing that again. I absolutely love making connections with others.
Same. I was on the first concert in 2,5 years and I just noticed how anxious I got. I always was a introvert but holy fuck.
This kept a smile on my face the whole time. It was not only amazing to see the experience of the restaurant and garden, but the creation of bonds between people who had previously nothing to tie them together. Thank you for this art!
"don't worry I brought the goggles" đđ
this was so wholesome, the end had me tearing up while also smiling like an idiot. To see how grateful everyone was to have shared this experience and seeing strangers forming a unique bond that will last them a lifetime
yesss i was smiling the whole time too! wholesomeness definitely defines this video, what a experience!
"I'm not awkward at all when it comes to talking to people i don't know" đ
no me too. strangers=fine, people i see every day but donât really talk to=panic
@@jasminetaylor7223 so accurate đ
It's kind of like what the hell i will never see stranger x again anyway.
If its someone i know then it's extra pressure and expectations to perform..
@@carochan86 my mind goes blank in both cases .. and i start acting awkwardly
in a world where being asked on an adventure by a stranger would be frowned up, your video actually made me believe in humanity again, no ulterior motives, just asking strangers to have an adventure. You never know what lies around the next bend, but saying yes to that adventure probably allowed them to experience something that they will cherish and talk about for the rest of their lives. Thank you Nathaniel for this video.
This made me cry at the end. That was one of the loveliest gestures; asking strangers out to an extraordinary restaurant! And it's YOU who made it so beautiful with your enthusiasm and love. I couldn't believe it was Menton! I used to visit Menton in the '80s and '90s, taking the train down from Paris, where I lived. I would arrive all grey and emaciated, to stay with my friends, Jack and Charlotte (writer and painter). And I would leave full of colour and less depressed. The light in Paris is stark ... but the light in the Menton is pink and blue. Nathaniel, you carry the light within you!
You have an open heart Nathaniel. I also like the way you also asked older people if they wanted to join the adventure and didn't just approach people your own age.
Next time we meet can we pretend we are strangers?
Hhhh
Nathaniel, I feel like a sister, who's really proud of her younger brother for the person he has become!!! You are real treasure for the society and for anyone who crosses your path, and more than sure, you leave deep impact on their lives.I wish you nothing, but the best and anything that you need for happiness and to carry on your wonderful ways. You truly are amazing and inspiring!
This makes me so excited to travel again and also encourages me to keep stepping out of my comfort zone and connect with humans xx
I had a constant grin on my face through the whole thing and it just made me genuinely happy to watch this.
What a beautiful video Nathan â€ïž
Hey, so did I. You nailed it.
That was me to, i couldn't stop grinning, it's like my heart was smiling ^_^
Me too!
@@sossoft ditto
the dog topped off a great video :)
Probably one of the best videos you've ever made. What an amazing masterpiece. Everybody can connect through food, even when its by watching this video.
This is so beautiful, you are making such a difference in peoples lives. Not even only these 3(4) wonderful strangers, but everybody watching as well. I can't even imagine what kind of impact you delivered into their lives.
I'm sure this video resonates with all of us. Sharing food is really a form of connective with one another.
Best video you ever produced Nathaniel, it would be great to see another experience with the same group of people after a year time frame or more. Please publish any extra footage if you have, cheers from Italy!
i wonder which is most personally satisfying?
1. the actual pleasure of the experience
2. confirmation of your own pleasure seeing the reaction of others after experiencing it as well
3. the feeling of sharing that pleasure/experience
Everybodyâs gratitude in their faces!
4. As the editor pointed out, having 3 more people in your life experience.
That was bloody brilliant Nathaniel. I wish I knew more people that really see the beauty in life and cherish it like you do
Okay so Iâm not the type of persons who leaves comments under videos but this time I had to. At first I was just amazed by the fact that this video was filmed in the city I live in, but then it became a surreal experience and I started crying at the end of the video. You reminded me how beautiful it was to share and bond with strangers. So just for that, thank you so much!!
âHow beautiful life could be when you drop the barriersâŠâ đ beautiful experiences with fellow humans are so heart filling â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I love Luca asked - "Are you happy dude?", everyone strives to be a part of make this happen for oneself and one other!
i donât think a videoâs ever made me feel this warm and happy inside
That was such a beautiful video. Iâm feeling quite emotional now. It just goes to show that deep down people are genuinely kind and that we all share a common bond. And what a perfect location. Thank you again Nathaniel!
Your curiosity, generosity, and openness to experiences and meeting other people is inspiring, thank you
For all the stranger - danger narrative we get fed (which is not without itâs merits, better safe than sorry!), this video shows to us that most people are joyous and friendly, and not everyone is out there to rob you. The world, and humanity is still a wonderful place and the fears of the few should not scare us away from the joys of the many. Really great video, and I admire the amount of courage it took for both you to take the initiative, and for the âstrangersâ to go to a place they didnât know, with people they didnât know.
I'm a big believer of energy, I listen to my guts, and nothing ever happened to me
So true!
But at the same time, when Nathan was nervous asking strangers to an 'adventure' without revealing any details, it scares me if I was on the receiving end. I mean, this would be the go to response.
*"Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking." - Marcus Aurelius*
I absolutely LOVE THIS!!! And well done for approaching strangers! Brave man; this was a delight to watch!
I could see the emotions in their faces, it is so simple, random, and yet brilliant!
This is my favourite video of yours so far. Makes me want to cry with joy and yet sadness that this isn't how everyone in the world is. Man.
I'm a very introverted and shy person, but I have always wanted to do something like this. I have always had a hard time meeting people and making friends, and I tend to spend most of my days completely alone (which I absolutely love, don't get me wrong). However, it would be nice to get out of my shell and take a chance on experiencing something I never will unless I just go for it. Whenever I watch your videos, I always think to myself, "I could do this too, what's stopping me? What am I so afraid of?"
Thank you for another wonderful video, Nathaniel. I hope to see more videos like this in the future! â€ïž
Same
I'm also a bit introverted but I do this. I enter a bus, go to a random town or city and stay for a few days enjoying the sights and sounds.
@@thatweirdnigerianguy Definitely great advice if you're able to. I travel a lot by myself and I love to just soak in all the different locations. đ„°
This is such a beautiful video. Extreme adventures shared (with strangers) like this is such a profound way to experience life in all itâs beauty.
Loved the video and every detail that went into it too. The background music used was literally perfect. Shoutout to your editor and it's truly crazy what happens when you take a step outside your comfort zone, that's when real adventures happen.
I couldn't help but smile and giggle. Nathaniel, your videos are always such a joy to watch and it truly makes me feel at home within myself to see you gradually becoming at peace and overcoming your insecurities. Bless you đ
Nathaniel is the ideal verison for all of us.
It's so amazing.

I loved this video SO much. You've created such a beautiful experience, not only for the participants but even watching this feels inspiring and like being part of the adventure. You've left me with a welcome and optimistic feeling. Thank you for all the effort you put into making this high quality content.
I just found your channel today and when I saw this video I knew I had to watch it. As an aspiring Michelin star chef everything about this video hit the right chords because being able to share moments with people through food and have it be something you never forget is why I do what I do. Iâm so glad that you did this, I am currently in tears, thank you!â€ïž
What I like about this video is that in the end I feel so happy and grateful after seeing it even if I'm here eating alone in my kitchen.
I think it's because the point here was humanity, not food.
I have no words. This touched my heart. I admire people like this. I wish everyone the best life imaginable. Love & light! â„
I'm crying because this is just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this!
This made me cry. It reminds me so clearly of my experiences in the military. Making life-changing relationships in the matter of weeks. Connection is everywhere, we just need to be open to it.
Iâve never commented before, but Iâve watched your content for about a year now. Youâre incredibly inspiring. Our brains work the same, so itâs really interesting to hear you work through things and experience things because itâs like watching myself go through that experience.
This was the most beautiful and genuine thing I have seen in a while. I had a big smile on my face throughout the whole video. Thank you for sharing this with us Nathan â€ïž
You're amazing! It looks like you're all having such a great time. I've always loved the thought of connecting through food, because I think it's such a beautiful and big thing in life đđ»
This made me want to live life again. This made me love and get inspired. You created not just memories for these 4 individuals but for the viewers watching, thank you and you should most definitely be proud.
We definitely need more videos like this one. What a great experience! The group seems to be so nice and kind, I love how the guy was so happy and humble. Good to see how you guys enjoyed such an amazing experience like food and human connection. Probably one of my favorite videos on the channel!
Man! Your story telling is just amazing! What a great video!
This was so profound and gave my heart so much life. Thank you for sharing this story and inspiring me to remember that a few words to a strange, 15 seconds of courage, can lead to very special experiences. Youâre amazing Nathaniel
It was really wholesome to see how there is still hope for human connection after the pandemic. The fear of getting close to a stranger even in the supermarket is still wideky spread but I love and admire that these brave souls just went for it. Thank you for sharing such contentâ€
Amazing concept, amazing people, amazing story!!! Loved this video đ§Ą
You're so sweet Nathaniel. What a generous experience to bestow on these strangers. Wish I was one of them. Thank you for sharing your passion for food, novelty, and life with us.

This is so so touching. It made me cry! Beautifully filmed and edited and such a glorious idea.
Such a beautiful moment you had created with these strangers, the joy of real world could felt in this video, so much appreciating! Keep creating the art that you wanna paint to your life with. â€
Amazing! This was incredible and had me smiling the whole video. It opens my mind to say "yes" more, even when I don't know what to expect or know what the outcome could be. This is how extraordinary friends and moments are created.
This video was truly so beautiful to watch! It 's amazing to watch what truly matters in life, the people you meet and the places you go. All of those experiences are so precious! I love where you have taken your channel and your growth as a person and creator. I feel like I can really relate to the content that you are releasing. I was so wrapped up in self improvement that I am learning how to just be and enjoy the simple everyday things. It's is a truly comforting feeling to know you are not alone...Thank you!
Favorite video you have ever done and ive been watching since around 50,000 subs. Made me cry....happy tears. Life is beautiful
You are absolutely brilliant and there is no other like you in social media. I love that you never hide your vulnerability. Keep going with content that you are creating.
Nathaniel youâre such an inspiring, innovative, and down to earth person. Your content is always so thought provoking and heartwarming. As cheesy as this may sound, I feel like I become a better person just by learning so much from you. Youâre honestly so amazing that Iâve never felt such gratitude to be a subscriber to ANY CZcams channel. đ
Your story-telling is masterful, your creativity is inspiring and your expressions seem so genuine. Bravo!
Such an amazing moment! Thank you for sharing. It was really beautiful. Love the video, the story, the beauty of life, connecting with strangers, bonding over food and nature and culture, sharing their story (painter showing his stufio was a beautiful moment too.) It was so beautiful to just live life, appreciate this Earth, life and food ,and connect with others. Life is beautiful đ
Strangers have always been a best part of my life. There's magic in creating the bonds we never thought would exist. Glad you did this Nathanâ€ïžâš
I LOVED THIS!!! literally my entire body felt so happy the whole time! just like the others, I was smiling the WHOLE video and wanted to cry for how beautiful this video is! Your videos are just a constant amazement.
Watching this made me feel good and had me very emotional at the end. As an introvert, doing something like that is very scary, but the outcome was amazing. Every day I try to push myself to seek discomfort on some level and watching things like this gives me the strength and belief that I can't let my anxiety bring me down đ
This video really left an impression on me, so much that I ended up sobbing. It warmed my heart to see strangers connect so easily, to see you dare to be so openhearted. From my point of view, that last minute of the video was just pure perfection.
This is my favorite video of yours! I love seeing this and also having these kinds of moments in my life as well. So beautiful!
wahouuu une expérience humainement profonde et enrichissante. Tant de générosité dans le partage Nathaniel. As always, your videos seem like a long hug from a beloved friend - this video was no different. Thank you Nathaniel, this was amazing :)
Such a unique experience, it felt strange, and uniquely beautiful, it's so crazy how we tend to do that in real life but never dare to. One of the beautiful things about making connections is how we make them, thank you for this amazing content Drew.
Ps: when poeple were saying no. I was like how can they say No to this sweet person. Lol.
This was so sweet!!! I'm so happy for you and them. I wish I could have this experience, but it doesn't matter, I'm content with you all having it. So satisfying to see!
âI have three more people in my heartâ is such a lovely way to express people entering your life :â)
Oh my god this video is pure happiness. I had chills the whole time you were in the restaurant, the editing is so good. I ended up crying, it just made me so thankful to be alive, and that's only through watching you guys live this moment through a screen. But I could feel it all. Life is such a crazy adventure!
You just created a digital poem about the "French Art de vivre", connecting around meals. Such a beautiful video.
It's really funny to see how many people have said this video brought them to tears, because I had the same experience but hadn't looked down at the comments until right now.
You are a truly blessed with your sense of adventure and a good heart.
It is one of the most beautiful videos I have seen in my life. Thank you Nathaniel to share so much love man.
Nathaniel, what an amazing video. It's so nice to see how sometimes in life saying "yes" to some adventures can unlock amazing opportunities to live something new and meet nice people, even though saying "no" was the easiest answer.
This was lovely. 5 people brought together to have a human experience. Food is an art already but to be able to make this video into more than that is wonderful to watch.
im only half way through and im already crying. This is so beautiful and wholesome. I cant imaging experiencing anything like this.
This was honestly and incredible video ! Loved to see your excitement and playfulness come through in this video and the guest were full of great vibes too! I was smiling the whole way through the joy was contagious!!!! Also great videography!
This was so beautiful. Iâm sure that in those awkward moments of asking and worrying about the possible rejections people might have had you must have thought âwhat am I doing??â But in the end everyone had such a lovely, nearly impossible experience. Absolutely beautiful.
One of the best content Iâve watched, even though I donât get invited to the adventure but I really feel happy to watch it. Thank you for creating this content.
I love the vibe of your videos, been watching them for years and I love them more with each you post. You inspire me to live a life more like yours
The totally legit and profound gratitude in their faces is beautiful!! It is something else

I wish I had the genuine happiness you have! You're truly inspirational this is one of your best videos ever!
Thank you for doing this Nathaniel.
For moving me to tears when I realised at the end of this video: there's so much beauty and there are so many wonderful and interesting people in the world. We may not find them right away but we will eventually if we keep looking (and asking!). And it doesn't always have to be the grand gestures or nice restaurants (although, I wouldn't say no to those too) - there's so much to explore and enjoy in the mundane everyday life as well, once we step out of our routines, just a little bit.
This was inspiring - level 1000! x

I was kinda feeling uneasy these days, inpatient waiting for job interview result.... And somehow I found this particular video, I've been following Nathaniel since 2019 and I knew he made great brilliant content here. But I found good energy and kinda joy and excitement and if you believe me, it kinda give me goosebumps when I look at the Male guest when he excited and grateful that he said YES to Nathaniel's adventure â€ïž
This is soo genuine. I had a wide smile all over my face all video
I've been following for a while, and this might be my favorite video. There are a lot of videos like this (yes theory does a ton), but nobody else has shown the level of sincerity and down-to-earth-ness you do. Other videos make me think "oh that's cool" but this video makes me think "I'm doing this now" I'm inspired to be more vulnerable.
That was wonderful. Thank you! Although, to be honest, had you asked me on the street to go on an adventure, as a woman, I would have thought terrible things might happen and would have refused. This video opened my eyes to how wonderful things could also happen... Food for thought. I will definitely listen to the book you recommend. Thank you again, Nathaniel.
You just outdid yourself out there â€ïž
This video made me so happy!!! So free, so full of courage and energy!!! Thank you so much, I hope you all had an amazing experience (and I think you had! That's such a cool idea and wonderful video, so full of genuine happiness and curiosity! And food as a connection, amazing!!
This video touched my heart. It says that you can have fun if you are willing to talk to people. This video shows that world is still full of good people. And this is something different, never saw a video like this ever. I was bored of watching same type of videos on CZcams. Thanks for the content.
