Would be awesome to see your take on both bass and big ol' pike swimbaits in the future 👍 Something i've caught on with doing silicon or softbaits, gently stroking a blowtorch back and forth over the first mold helps to bring out and eliminate those airbubbles you speak of.
Your channel has inspired me to try making my own lures, I’m making a lipless crankbait rn and it’s actually turning out pretty well, keep em coming
Dart Frogs are awesome and probably a lot more fun to recreate as a bait than the typical leopard frogs you typically see...also...that wooden spinning reel...great stuff on this channel. Almost motivating me enough to get back into lure making

One of the best videos i've seen you do yet. They look amazing! Great work! Love nothing more than top water frog fishing over cover and seeing that blow up! I follow WWF too. He does some amazing baits.
I cant help but notice the bandsaw blade deflecting at 1:57 I recommend doing a tune up and moving your bearings in a bit. Jonathan Katz-Moses just did a video on bandsaw tuning. I think you would benefit from it. Love the one day builds!

You should have taken some thin plastic and cut in the shape of the feet, then placed it in the mold before you poured. Maybe could have made the feet a little more stiff to help splash more water?

I want some of those frogs! That big tadpole a couple videos ago would make a cool soft bait or lure.... 🤔
I think I have a bag of soft plastic bullfrog tadpoles. Caught maybe 3-5 fish in ten years time on them.
Might work better if the habitat actually has bullfrogs and their offspring in it, though, which isn't the case here.

I agree. I've owned my 3D printer for a couple of years now and I've been able to design and print all kind of useful stuff other than the useless trinkets that general hobbyist make. I too am presently working on a top-water frog bait to be printed using TUP filament. I'm also toying with the idea of printing some clone "Whopper-Plopper" type of lures.
With the amount of talent this gentleman displays I think he could come up with some fishing lures that would make the well known fishing tackle manufactures kneel at his feet and beg for pointers.

Agree to some point. If he starts 3D printing baits that would be the off point for me. I like this because it is from scratch and think through the direction of making the bait as he is makingking it. Can't really do that with 3D. all must be thought through at computer design stage. Not interesting.

Awesome as per usual! Love the frog lures. Early morning or late evening would work better for you. Draggin through grass beds or lilies. Around stumps and water vegetation. Wouldn't mind having one of those in green with off white belly.

One of my first fishing memories is looking into my granddad's tackle box and seeing a giant toad lure. Needless to say these are much nicer looking lures. happy to see an upload keep up the good work can't wait for the store
