it would be cool if the mass notification system could triggered by noaa wx radio same alerts and play the wx radio alert message from the national weather service over mass notification system

The MT is my most favorite multi tone device! I have 2 (one is an AMT) the hi lo tone is definitely my favorite.

Nice video, used to be a Fire alarm enthusiast but lost interest and move on to the EAS and weather radios enthusiast
They should have some of the front plates come with the heat detector where the head falls off at a certain temp in the box so u wouldn’t have to replace the alarm every time

Can you please do a video on reviewing and testing the 'usi 4 in 1 fire,smoke,co and gas alarm" (ionization and photoelectric)I think they sound like a good alarm with all the combos and being interconnected with battery back so if any danger happens you'll know. I want to see if it's any good before I purchase . THANKS.

I love these American alarms, im from the UK so i dont see these :( Anyways, hows life?
When I first gave AC Power to my fire alarm system, the alarms would activate unexpectedly and would have to shut it off! After countless troubleshooting, I figured out I wired my heat detector incorrectly-and I thought the detector was permanently activated before it was given to me (pre-owned device). After I fixed the wiring, the panel stopped activating unexpectedly! 😃

If you apply heat to the side and not directly on the disk will temporarily activate it

They do have them. Its called a Wheelock ET-7070-LSM IIRC.

MT stands for multi-tone, so that wouldn't make sense for a speaker strobe.

SER! I have a question. I have probably about 80 fire alarms myself and I’m pretty much done collecting unless I can get a panel. Any idea where I could sell my alarms?
eBay or OfferUp would be your best bet selling alarms. Marketplace is another good option.

The wheelock mts is my least favorite fire alarm because of how horrible it sounds. Most of the fire alarms at my school are the mts, we’ve had 3 false alarm alarms this year plus one drill and they drive my ears crazy.
They are multi tone that’s why it’s called MT multi tone
