  • A fresh type of video here in the Project. I talk about this skunk who killed our fox kits and moved it. I issued a death warrant on it in this review • Top Shelf Thermal Scop... and this is the fulfillment of that promise. I'll lay a foundation of what I call "proximity pests" and how sometimes they just need to be taken out. But it's more about lessons learned in these thermal/night vision systems and also the weapon system, ammo choice, and stability in shooting. Dial and the time will pass quick as I review how this was necessary and all this important system lessons.

Well our clown world continues but I keep cranking out content you like. Thanks for coming out to the vid. This is where I post mostly b. this is where the audience has stayed. BTW this review would not exist without TNP Donors, please consider joining long term. I’m so dumb how I operate it I don’t even have TIER levels there; you can join for a $3 per creation (only 6 charged per month btw). You can now join up for FREE. But of course it’s the paying members that keep the show going. TNP Patreon is where the action is! www.patreon.com/Nutnfancy.
"Todd Strelka 2d Nice video. The foxes are beneficial. I've heard that there are foxes at U42 South Valley Regional Airport to help keep the bird population down to prevent bird strikes by airplanes. 1 The Nutnfancy Project 2d I totally believe that 1 Sajak 2d Love the format and the undercurrent of this discussion. Long live Nutnfancy the Skunk Slayer! 3 The Nutnfancy Project 2d Thank you Sajak rediius 2d Missed opportunity to call this Operation Skunk Works as a tangential reference to your piloting career. The Nutnfancy Project 2d Never too late for that...maybe when I debrief the next one Load replies Moe Mansour 2d What's your thoughts on the S&W 432 or just .32 H&R mag snub noses in general? Wish snubies were legal where I am. The Nutnfancy Project 2d Too underpowered. If carrying a centerfire revolver, .30 Spcl +P would be my minimum. Now for undercover carry, the .22 MAg NAAs will get it done. Guy Actual 2d I'm right there with you on Killing. Had to kill a poisonous snake in our front yard just two days ago (Water Moccasin). And I know that snakes are damned to bruise the ankle of man, and such... but I still hate killing a lifeform that just doesn't know better. I have children, neighbors have pets, and the lady next door came home about 2 min after I dispatched it from the earth. She would have had a bad night most likely. The Nutnfancy Project 2d "...but I still hate killing a lifeform that just doesn't know better. " That seems like you Guy, a principaled varmint hunter. Indeed if they are not causing big probs like these critters they are free to live around us. 2 Derek W Tiller 2d That skunk never knew what hit it! The Nutnfancy Project 2d No suffering at all 2 The Late Boy Scout 2d Dude! I need a thermal! 1 The Nutnfancy Project 2d Yes you do 2 Aceman1126 2d Foxes are one of my favorite animals of all and I'm glad you are watching over them. Seems like the gear worked pretty good and you learned a lot about employment of said gear. Win win in my book. Thanks for sharing and as always thanks for the hard work that goes into the project! 1 The Nutnfancy Project 2d Thank you Ace and you bet 1 Dean 2d They both eat turkey poults. The Nutnfancy Project 2d Yep they do kawicheater 2d Sorry it came to killing the skunk in this case. That would have been great to watch the kits grow. Thanks for the humane kill. If you would like to watch some kits there is a great channel called ‘Save A Fox’. They rescue fur farm foxes etc and find them propper forever homes. High recommend for your fox watching fix. You and Save A Fox are my only Patreon donations. The Nutnfancy Project 2d Really cool you support them, foxes are awesome and always under attack it seems. Even in captivity they don't live that long. There's some good owners that take care of them and build habitats for them. 1 Lance L Black 2d I don't hesitate on taking out skunks in our area, rabies carrier and they repopulate quickly. Plenty of skunks, even 60 miles from Austin! Bernal 2d Skunk's gotta do what a Skunk's gotta do. Nutnfancy gotta do what he gotta do! Unlock codes, got it👍 Jonathon Palmieri 2d LOL! I love the kill marks on the ground squirrel Ruger American. maxmfs 2d That’s a design flaw on the Rattler. In addition to a raised guard/cover, every powered optic should have a time delay power switch, e.g., press and hold for three seconds to power on, press and hold to power off, etc. Michael B warner 2d I didn't know that skunks were predatory I always thought they were scavengers like possums and coon's. That's interesting learn something new everyday I'm with you with killing things although I am a annual deer hunter. I don't like killing things unless it's a last resort. I have an active death warrant out on red squirrel's specifically. They are incredibly destructive they chew holes in my barns and last winter chewed a hole in my boat cover. They got inside it and completely destroyed the interior of my Bass boat just chewed everything. It cost me almost a grand to fix everything so we're on a shoot on site basis. I have also employed traps as well although traps are only effective about 20% of the time however. My 10/22 has been getting the job done for me pretty well!!! Nate Berglund 2d That Colt is beautiful! I still haven't pulled the trigger on a thermal yet. After seeing this, I just might get one soon. sammy marchand 2d First shot was definitely a miss but the kill was clean and humane. I’ve shot 5-6 skunks with a PVS-14 & IR laser setup on a .22lr pistol and even on pellet and BB rifles. They can definitely be pests. 1 Mattimus 1d Great content here with pou and mc topics to flesh it out. More please:) Colostomybag 1d Honestly I've only killed one Deer. Felt kinda bad afterwards, it did taste pretty damn awesome though. Glad I know how to field dress one but I don't plan on doing that again. That being said I'm planning on getting nv before I get thermal. It seems to me that thermal is for observation and nv is for shooting. Bryan Hufstedler 11h Peppy had it coming! Loved the video. David Eslamizar 7h I have rats around my place. One day I shot a few with a BB gun (pest control) and I felt bad but moved on. Several days later I did more pest control and I ended up shooting a baby rat and it didn’t die right away and it suffered and I heard it before I finished it off. I love animals and the sounds are still stuck in my head, of the suffering rat. I have not been able to nor do I have the desire to do that again. Maybe I’m a puss or maybe I just care more than I should. Christopher B. 5h Grizzly... Have you considered a good ratting terrier? Lots of good videos of those dogs getting work done. Rob Miller 4h XLNT video and lesson. Anyone who has hunted game will likely have similar lessons of failure to prepare and practice. I have an endless list of personal blunders afield."

I forget that not everyone grew up like me. I grew up out in the woods, and we had livestock and property we relied upon to live. It was nothing for us to dispatch whatever we needed to protect our food and property. We learned young what we needed to dispatch and hunt. There are numerous channels that show hunters dispatching critters that are nuisance animals to farmers and ranchers. Some are night critters, and the rest are day critters. It’s about survival. God takes care of everything, but in order to make our way in the world, we as humans must thin the populations of certain critters that prevent us from prospering. We don’t eradicate(unless it is an invasive species). We just keep the population down, and find a balance within the ecosystem.

We are good Shepards of God’s world. The clowns don’t understand this, nor do they care to understand this. They are Zombies of the propaganda and narrative that the evil ones are pushing. They are the Deceived, and unwilling to learn or change. God is the key, and He speaks to us with His Word, the Bible. Amen 🙏

You are definitely a city slicker dude. I thought you were a country boy for so long…had me fooled. If you were a real prepper,(country boy) then you would know that you must kill any and all predators near you and your “livestock”. City slickers don’t even know what are predators and what aren’t. Country folk are merely protecting their livestock and property. However, you are admitting your mistakes…and learning. And you admit this. Bravo Zulu to you. You can admit you are wrong, change your mind, and the way you work a solution to problems! This is what we call the spiritual Way, because this is the same thing we do as Christians. Most country folk are Christians in case you didn’t know…especially here in America. God bless you Nutnfancy. Keep up the good work! You just showed everyone the Glory of God without even realizing it! 🤠🙏

Skunk had to go. You’re a braver man than I to consider messing with a trapped skunk! I come across skunks often while hunting, my buddies dog even got sprayed a few years ago. I gotta say though, FMJ? There is a HUGE difference in lethality between a fmj and a vmax, ballistic tip or TNT hollow point! Use whatever you want but I think you would be surprised what that “Pee shooter” is capable of with expanding bullets.

Skunks are members of the weasel family. They can raise havoc on domestic chickens, ducks, plus anything that lays eggs in your animal husbandry attempts. I've ended a couple that found and continually raided the coop, eating eggs and killing baby chicks and ducklings. The "leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone" policy applies.

The fox are awesome Critters. I have a family near my house and the Kitts will steal my dogs toys and they actually play with the dogs toys at night

Just goes to prove your understanding of wild life. The fox's wouldn't have move there if their food supply wasn't all destroyed.
That I understand too. It is great to see ecology co-existing ...Rock on... 👍✌

I play as a dmr scout in airsoft and i use a vector optics with 6 to 24x zoom, i mainly scout and relay the location to my buddies in my line and what they have and how many, but yeah the optic makes the difference, even though i cant shoot as far as i can see (wich is in perfect weather 90m) the information is more important than a kill.
Ps. I always try to go center mass because especially in airsoft, the grain of your pellet and the wind can make the ballistics finnicky, i also reccomend a bubble level on your optic
