I'm so thankful for every single moment you listened to your gut and didn't push when it wasn't safe, especially on your original summit push day when you had thought the weather was going to be perfect but didn't see anyone else making their way up. I am so inspired by the way you rested, got medical help, but persisted in the beginning of your journey when you were so sick. By sitting behind my screen comfortably and watching, somehow I could feel some of the struggles and bliss that you went through, even though I myself have never climbed Everest. Maybe one day I will go with you on one of my favorite treks on your channel, Annapurna. I would like to stay on one of the campsites for at least a month for sadhana. The fact that he not only climbed Mount Everest after having Covid-19, but made it past the DEATH ZONE and summited the mountain…Considering Covid is a strong respiratory illness, really speaks for how incredible his accomplishment really is.

Oh I love this so much, so many congratulations, Ram! I had the privilege of camping for 2 nights at base camp on the China side of Everest in Tibet in 2005. Although I didn't climb, it was absolutely magical. There is nothing like, before or since, seeing the sunset over Mt Everest. No words.

I'm climbing Mt Sunflower in Kansas next spring. Gonna try it without bottled oxygen. If I survive, I try climbing Mt Everest the following year.

The fact that he not only climbed Mount Everest after having Covid-19, but made it past the DEATH ZONE and summited the mountain…Considering Covid is a strong respiratory illness, really speaks for how incredible his accomplishment really is.

Oh I love this so much, so many congratulations, Ram! I had the privilege of camping for 2 nights at base camp on the China side of Everest in Tibet in 2005. Although I didn't climb, it was absolutely magical. There is nothing like, before or since, seeing the sunset over Mt Everest. No words.
