Man, what a game! Both teams' skills are really on another level.
I really don't get why everyone's complaining and blaming one single player, mistakes will always happen, they're pro players but that doesn't mean they play perfectly. You can go ahead and pretend it was one player's fault but FNC vs G2 has always been a mind game when they're facing against each other, the strongest mindset wins.
I still believe Fnatic will bounce back, and if they don't, I don't care, I'd still be there cheering for them cause that's what a TRUE FAN does.

It's so hard to judge how strong G2 actually is from these games. It feels like they are extremely good at punishing the enemy team's mistakes, but all this game up until the baron steal shows that proactive and clean early games make G2 look very vulnerable. I don't know how well they will do if they keep relying on the other team screwing up at some point

Yeah from their first win when they went behind early game but just punished multiple mistakes to doing the same here they dont look good until they're all of a sudden winning
@@jamesbowles6601 Thats how it is against top teams atm,one mistake can swing the match in your favor. Both FNC and G2 dont let you breath even for a minute despite them being behind. Make that mistake and within 5 mins they are knocking down your nexus despite being 5k gold behind 10 mins ago.
@@yakudza2773 yes I know they're incredibly good at punishing a mistake, it's why they beat SKT T1 at worlds and os why they've been so strong this past year. However, when the question is 'what do they do when they come up against the teams that dont make the mistakes' I think that is a big reason why they lost to FPX at worlds.
They know they are over all teams in Europe I think they don't even bother showing they cards :)

Jankos played amazingly to steal the baron yes, But The constant poke of Ezreal along with the rest of the team collapsing at team fights is what won them the game. Heck he even out farmed rekkles by 23 CS by the end of the game. He and Jankos both carried.

Now on the other side being it a team game and all wunder on janna did play a huge role in keeping G2 alive throughout most fights arguably turning most skirmishes into a favorable outcome. Just my thought.

People legit still find a way to blame the game on Hyli after FNC go for the most int baron call ever, not even destroying the blast cone before it. Hyli played fine, and the deaths he had this game really didn't determine who would win the game.

The decision was good, Jankos had no flash. They were just bone-heading the execution and left the plant alive for Jankos to jump in. Without it the baron was there.
And they weren't leading. G2's comp were heavily favored after 3 items and the gold-lead meant absolutely nothing at that point in the game.

@@SuperHipsterGamer Tbf the gold score didnt really mean anything past mid game cause half of it was always due to Top Lane Pick discrepancy. So even at 3k Gold Lead you can safely say it was only 1k or 2k. and a Support hero with that much gold will always be more valuable than a standard top laner with a bit of a lead.
To recap my week: i had to spend 1200 euro to fix my car, Bernie lost super tuesday, FNC lost against G2, i live in Italy and the region where i live just became a red zone.

G2s gameplan was to draft more of an early game comp and then to not do anything for 25 minutes to bait fnatic into starting the baron and have Jankos steal it. Grabbz has really outdone himself here. Respect!

@@mikelytou Yeah, even Jankos himself wrote on twitter that Caps should get that. Well, I guess that that was a classic problem that one big action can steal all the splendor from a consistent good play. Anyway, G2 won and that's what matters.
It depends on your criteria for MVP. Do you favor multiple good actions that in the long run dont really mean anything(aka caps piloting ezreal excelent but not getting anything done) or one insane upswing made by one particular player that swings the whole match suddenly in your favour. I personally dont care about adc position since its not a role to make plays in s10 so for me to give it to caps would be silly since it was jankos that put g2 who was clearly loosing back in the game
Hmm maybe I am being overly critical but I see Hylissang making a lot of weird plays and costly mistakes in almost every Fnatic game I've watched these past few.
