Hi Grace 💞 With the Givenchy blush, I take the puff out, put the lid back on, then gently tap it upside-down before putting a brush in it. This gives a enough of each pigment to mix in the lid and also to tap it off!

I use the givenchy blush the same way you do. Just the smallest amount in the lid and dab the brush many times into the blush. I love the blush and do not mind the application because it is beautiful.

The Cle de Peau eye palette is pretty. The light application reminds me of Suqqu. Love the Givenchy blush on you - so fresh. Although I really enjoy the Cle de Peau cream blushes, I tend to avoid much cream of anything in the hot weather. However, I’ve made great use of the Chantecaille gel blushes and a few powders. Thanks for showcasing such wonderful products.

I've never really been interested in the Givenchy Blushes due to how they apply, although in love with their eye-shadow palettes. I'd be much happier with something simpler and more convenient. Grace, as for the Clé de Peau Quad, that lightest shade is actually a primer with skin enhancing properties to it. It's meant to go all over the lid first and then apply the other three shades. Jen, from Allfeisty did a comparison between using this light shade as a primer and with creating a look the way she wished to. The results surprisingly showed that when the primer was initially applied all over the lid, the shadows did show up much better. It's always worth a try to see which you prefer. I'm not sure whether it's the lighting, but I can hardly see anything on your lids. I have very small lips and thought that using a lip brush with lipsticks in a palette would be a good fit. Honestly, I just find the lipstick, a different brand, comes off in no time at all. They're fine for rather short periods, yet constantly need re-applying which is rather difficult with a palette of that size. What I do love, are those sample-sized lipsticks which are perfect for me. I have no problems with regular sized bullet lipsticks or ones shaped liked the Dior Addicts or YSL Volupté, yet I have more precise application with something that little smaller. Never be tricked into thinking that because I have a smaller sized mouth and lips, that my mouth isn't big enough to talk the ear off an African Elephant! As you can probably tell by the length of my comment.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

I love this natural, classy look. I am a fan of CdP. It is sometimes difficult to pay their high prices, but I never regret it. I will be buying the eyeshadow quad if it is still available. Although I like the idea of the Westman Atelier highlighter, I do not see myself using it. I already own the Dior brow pencil and I really like it. I agree with you that it is difficult to find a cool toned brown eyebrow pencil that works. I just wish there was more product in the pencil for the price they charge. I am intrigued with the Givenchy Blush, and have not made up my mind if I will purchase it. I'm not sure that I will reach for it over other easier to use products, although I like the effect of it. The lipstick, although pretty, is not one I'd use over a bullet formula - too inconvenient. In my mind, the eyeshadow is the biggest winner. I see myself panning this one.

Thanks for the detail on the Westman Atelier. I can’t decide if the liquid version will do for me what the compact version does. I need it to cling to my broken capillary patches, I think the little bit of wax, or whatever it is in the compact, gets it to stick despite my oils. I will probably pick it up at some point. 👍
Can I ask what would happen if you topped cheeks with cream or powder bronzer instead of all the concealer? Would that blur or blend the spots? I’m more trying to blend my spots, even if they show a little. I personally prefer the more see-through, natural look for day. In the summer anyway, beachy. 🏝️
Love this Cle’ de Peau quad on you. I’ve never used the Givenchy blush, but I can see it definitely blends well on your skin. Like you, I am more concerned with protecting my skin than piling on the makeup. I emphasize my eyes, in my case - my best feature. Thanks for this great tutorial. It’s very important to know which products look best with your coloring and skin type. ❤

Grace, I love this new eye look your doing its very natural and really opens up the eyes more. Which just proves one doesn’t need a lot of highlighters or shimmery shades on the lids to open up the eye. Great eye look and the Givenchy loose blush looks very nice on the cheeks. 😊❤️

I was going to comment that as soon as she applied the second shade it reminded me of Tisse Rivoli. The end result of the eye look looks pretty much the same, at least on camera. The quad itself looks different. I’d also like to know Grace’s opinion on that 😊
🌸 great question! This indeed reminded me of Tisse Rivoli - but a more sheer & delicate version. I’ve got to try 03 to see if that’s either closer or further away from this one vs. Tisse Rivoli. I’ll try to remember to swatch it in the next CdP video 👍🏼

🌸 thanks for the question! It’s the Tata Harper Brightening Essence. I typically use a brightening product in my routine & have been giving this a good try. It does a lovely job of helping to even out my skin tone & it plays well with all of my other products ❤️
