I just think Heinen deserved it for beating the odds of a PTO contract and still produces middle six numbers, PK, penalty kill, good 5 x 5 analytics. My dark horse candidate was Parker Wotherspoon. From AHL depth D afterthought to now filling in admirably for loss of Forbort and giving some toughness and pushback this team sorely needs. That saved the D corps and saved Sweeney from having to overpay to go get help at D.
