By now I'm convinced that you can read minds. I was nervous about the shorter notes, so I'm very grateful for the extra video. Thank you!
By the way: You look lovely, the colour of your shirt looks stunning on you.

    So Dear Ms. B,
I have been following you for about a year now and have learned soooo much. You have taught me more in that time than I was ever able to figure out in well over 50 years! If anybody can actually teach me to finally read music, I just know it will be you. I can figure out the note names and their positions on the lines and spaces, chord are no problem, but could you spend a tiny bit more time showing which finger, fret and string corresponds to the note on the printed page? This is where I stumble, and can't always see on the video where your left hand fingers are as each note is played. Of course concentrating on the printed page is critical too, but I feel if I can get a clearer picture of the notes on the fret board, and learn as I go, it will be easier the just mechanically memorizing everything by rote.
You are a wonderful instructor and have allowed me to enjoy music as no other teacher over many years has been able to. Your style is perfection and just what an old dinosaur like me needs! I admire and adore you. Stay well!

dim and distant memories of music lessons at school (over 40 years ago) coming back to me and I'm remembering that whole notes were grandad's footsteps and sounded like 'Taa-aah | taa-aah', half notes were dad's footsteps and sounded like 'Tar tar | tar tar', quater notes were a child's footsteps and sounded like 'tar-tay tar-tay | tar-tay tar-tay' and finally eight notes were the dog's footsteps and sounded like (and this one always made me laugh) 'taff-e-teff-y taff-e-teff-e | taff-e-teff-y taff-e-teff-y'
