Street Glide Build- Episode 1 (Front End Makeover)

In this video, I install Dominator Cycles 12" Big Daddy Meathook apes on the Street Glide. I also paint the forks gloss black to kick off the conversion from chrome to black on this build.

Did u paint your forks or Powder Coat them. If u painted them how do u think paint will hold up

@briangately I painted them. I've done it many times before and never had a problem. Did it on the FXRT build as well. Sand with 400, light coat of etch primer. Sealer, color, and clear. Good to go! Thanks for watching!

I converted my 17 Road Glide to black parts to replace all the chrome with the only exception of the motor cha-ching!… note black parts scratch easier them chrome.

I like both black and also chrome. I honestly think though that chrome is easier to clean with 0000 steel wool.

I do love chrome. I'm just super picky with cleaning. I'm hoping the black might save me some polishing time in between rides, and I've never had a black trimmed bike. Thanks for watching!
