“He Walked Away From This Country!” Prince Harry ‘Snubbed’ As Prince William Gets New Military Role

- Talk’s Jeremy Kyle is joined by former BBC royal correspondent Michael Cole to discuss Prince William’s new military role.
The King officially handed over the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to the Prince of Wales during a visit to its Hampshire airfield.
The Army Air Corps is the Duke of Sussex’s old unit, in which he served as an Apache helicopter commander and co-pilot gunner during his second tour to Afghanistan in 2012.
The King’s decision to hand the role to William was seen as a blow to Harry when it was announced last year.
Michael says Harry “will take it as a disappointment”, but adds “he walked away from the country”.

I believe they thought that half in, half out wouldn't be an issue, forgetting that it had been tried before with Edward and Sophie and didn't work. I think she wanted to stay, but wanted to flaunt her titles in the USA too.

Harry did not fly helicopters in Afghanistan. He was a gunner/weapons officer. He was not a commander of an Apache. Harry’s position in the helicopter was in the front seat, with the commander in the back. Please get facts straight.

The Apache helicopter is notoriously difficult to fly. The pilots have to have extensive training. Hazza is thick as mince and kept failing his tests lol. .
Michael Cole needs to check his facts and retire. Harry was not able to pass the pilots tests. He is not a pilot! 😩

It is well known that this honour is given to the Prince of Wales. King Charles as PoW held the honour for 32 years. Now it has passed to the current PoW, Prince William.
