- The King officially handed over the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to the Prince of Wales during a visit to its Hampshire airfield.
Charles - who became the inaugural holder of the title 32 years ago - met with his eldest son in a rare joint official engagement at the Middle Wallop base on Monday afternoon to transfer the role.
Former royal correspondent Michael Cole joins Talk’s Jeremy Kyle to discuss this further.

It was only a 5 month tour of duty and he had his own protection team. It is well documented that other personnel were asked to scout areas before Harry actually went out. Prince William actually has a civil pilots licence and piloted the ambulance helicopter on many occasions. Prince William is far more qualified and suited to the role and is a working senior Royal and future King.

Harry also disrespected the military by choosing a Disney red carpet rather than attend an event as their patron. The late Queen was right to strip him of his honourary titles. In his book, he exposed the monarch and commander-in-Chief’s location . He doesn’t deserve honours in the military. He also chose to leave. The family have moved on.
