These map reworks don't do enough. Recently downloaded BFV again and those maps feel like real places. It's not just the cover density, it actually feels like I'm fighting over a real place. There needs to be more POIs between flags that feel like real places..
So true. Battlefield 5 and 1 are still fun if there isn't a scumbag cheater.
Every one hated on the foliage and brush/brambles but that made it the best for me. It didnât feel like a minecraft map with smooth surfaces
I think about this all the time. I get sad when people still want to bash BFV because all I can think about is how often I remember insanely intense fights over certain rocks and features because they're so real and good looking. It always feels like I'm really spilling blood on a memorable rock and it matters. 1 had that feeling too, every little area was memorable. 2042 maps feel like I'm having a bad dream stuck in a Barbie house, just flat ground and plastic random assets scattered around, I never actually care or remember what I'm fighting around

That WD black sn850 is what i use in my rig for over a year now. Whether you use ps5 or pc i highly recommend it also!
I gotta say, it does feel snappier, much better. If only the October event dropped Metro+Locker.
Straight up the WD Black line is incredible I recently swapped my pc to 2 2tb ssd 2.5 SATA ssd, 2 5tb 2.5 SATA HDD, 2 2tb m.2 ssd and added two external 5tb hdd's. I need a ridiculous amount of space as I am a full time video editor that's why all the storage. The ssd's are incredible for gaming though and I was full prior to the swap 10/10 recommend them.

Just the feeling of the weapons is what makes BF so great. I tried every weapon in BF4 and you get so much variety
You really dont. Ive tried all lmgs, snipers, pistols, carbines, shotguns, pdws and ars and nearly all feel the same. Got 150 kills on every lmg and i only felt differences on mg4, m240b and rpk12

Man I swear I never end up in a server where enemies seem to sit still. In mine they're just constantly moving so shots miss them by a whisper. Of course, they'll still be moving around when they fire back and have zero accuracy loss.
I would also like to see the Type 88 return from BFBC2, would be a great marksman rifle to fit in with the existing guns.

The renewed renewal is quite a good map now, it also wasn't the worst of the bf 2042 maps to begin with.
The mouse input fix made a huge difference on my gameplay, my infantry combat was so bad I almost exclusively played with vehicles, but now I can actually mean something as an infantryman đ
The faster ADS and extra 5 rounds per minute over the AWS made that my new go to sniper... the DXR still rechambers fastest but it feels heavy in comparison

That ssd for ps5 is so crazy man I bought a 2TB variant and switching games take about 30 secs and the best thing is you can easily install 20+ games on the ssd while having the internal storage completely unused itâs just mindblowing comparing it to the ps4

The GOL is the first sniper rifle in BF2042 I can actually hit something with. The bullet velocity feels way faster, I donât know. I wish it had a tier 1 skin though.

Iâm enjoying it but have only been able to unlock the 1911. Kind of disappointed the requirements to unlock the p90 and Gol are higher level unlocks. It makes it harder new players like me to reach. Mouse latency is absolutely better and Iâve also noticed a decrease in stuttering when firing fully automatic.
He told you how to do it in the beginning. I have the Gol and it did not take that long, maybe an hour in the new TDM playlist. You could also go to portal and use the actual p90 to get the p90 in AOW.

Finally⊠more than like 12 guns. If new maps are added (hopefully ones that feel like BF4 and BF1 maps in atmosphere and functionality) Iâll be willing to give 2042 another try. I will admit the graphics are awesome for me (3090 and 4K 120hz TV) and if they can somewhat replicate the BF4 feeling Iâll come back and hopefully enjoy it.
Glad they addressed mouse input, 2042 felt off to me control wise.

You use equipment and gadgets and everything is fine for you at the zoom level, me on my side as soon as I switch to my secondary weapon, whether I use a gadget or equipment the x6 and x12 sights zoom me in x0. Incomprehensible that you don't have this problem when all the people on the forums have it... how do you explain it?
I have to say. I love watching guys like you play and I love having you in my squad but I really, REALLY hate playing against you.
Im getting huge performance drops recently; average FPS supposedly 100ish on Low 1440p but with constant drops to under 20, its awful. Running i7 12th gen and 3070Ti, its mad. Dont have issues with other games.

I cannot use the sws, the velocity feels sooo low compared to the other snipers. Ill fire and by the time the bullet makes its way there people move. The dxr 1 is my personal fav.

why is the gol so good? Even in portal I would always go off with it before the update. The sws and drx1 just don't feel as good and idk what it is.
Donât really want to platy those vault weapons because you only get the red badge once you get 1200 kills but no red skin
Game needs hard-core mode. More cover in the reworks and added maps from 3 and 4 immediately

Very disappointed that it doesn't have the one-shot kill mechanic. I'm loving the sniper but dam it DICE. And there no additional attachments either. WTF.
Has anyone found any problems at all trying to launch 2042 ? i keep having problems that causes me to not be able to launch the game, whenever i click play on steam it says "play > running > stop > play" and then goes onto Origin and displays nothing on the page but "Well that didn't go as planned, please try reloading, if that doesn't work restart the client or check back later" I've had this problem for over a week now. It does this on repeat, i've tried literally everything there is to try, i've re installed the entire game and Origin and done a complete Clean Boot of my PC, ran it all as Administrator on Origin and the 2042 exe files, as far as i'm aware i've done literally everything it says on the EA help page but to no avail. I know some other people had some problems like this but i think mine is the worst yet, I literally cannot get anything for this damned game to work lol. has anyone experienced this problem and if so could you please point me inn the right direction maybe ? Or am i fucked lol
