for a fully max level fire team (Soldier 11 + Koleda + Ben) with high investment , it's totally doable even in later floor of SHIYU defence i think. Just that it is not efficient and not recommended for most casual players out there. But i like your determination.

If I'm not mistaken, the damage all anomalies do is based off of the character that contributed most to stacking the anomaly bar, right? In that case, wouldn't Anton's shock damage reapplication be based off of Grace's shock damage since the skill specifically mentions that it applies 45% of the [original] shock damage? (Original meaning Grace's shock or nah?)
Also, for Grace, it is actually important that you weave in basics inbetween skills because you don't get her 65% electric anomaly buildup boost without having 8 stacks of your passive. The combo I've played around with is basic1-basic2-basic3-skill-basic4-skill (Her attack combo doesn't get interrupted unlike other characters. Also, basic attack 4 instantly stacks your passive; I assume it's because it does multiple instances of physical hits in one attack).

Soldier 11 can actually always trigger Fire Suppression and doesn't always need to use her skill. The thing is, you have to time your attacks and press the attack button at specific times to trigger Fire Suppression.
Yeee I wanted to type this out but first had to check who typed it out first
17:02 soldier 11 can activate the fire hits from timing your attacks too, if you click a certain rythm she'll do them anyways, so that means she has virtually 100% uptime depending on how good you are as a player, and it also means that you can go crazy on pyro buffs or debuffs since she'll pretty much ALWAYS will do these hits.
it also means that she's really good at clearing fodder at the end of a chamber by example, for other characters you would need to spend energy or spend time, but since soldier 11 has, again, essentially 100% uptime on her pyro attacks she'll ALWAYS do at worse decent DMG so, yeah pretty dope character honestly im glad i got her, i mean i wanted ellen, but i think i have more than enough time to farm another 70'ish pulls and she's imo the best one after ellen for element variety (IF lycaon didn't exist bc he's the best breaker and has synergy with the best dps LMAO)

My first S rank is Lycoan and honestly I vibe with his personality. I’m glad I got him so I will always use him in any team comp thankfully he’s a stun. Unit
Didn't expect that I'd like a furry character, but Lycaon is actually super fucking cool. Idk much about his character, but his moveset is CLEAN.
I pulled him as well and feel like I need to use him since most the A ranks I got were copies of Nicole and Anby. Only new ones are Ben and maid with a table saw on a stick. I'm pretty much stuck with janky team

Graces potential will come into fulll realization at higher levels when we’ve properly built her. You only get the extra buildup of anomaly on grace if you build up her passive’s zap stacks on. You can’t just spam her skill. Besides, her rotation is incredibly smooth. N3 E N E for 2 fully charged zap stacks. If you E immediately after the 3rd normal and go right back into a normal, she builds up all her zap stacks with the the next attack. Dodging and using e doesn’t interrupt her normal attack sequence. She’s designed to use her normals.

Isn't nekomatas dodge attacks have very high anomaly build up? I thought her kit forces u to not use parry and instead dodge and use her counter attacks as often as possible

As soon as I get Grace, I’ll be popping off. Rn I’m running Anton as my DPS with Rina, then using Koleda with the Safety Bamboo Bunny dude (I don’t remember what it’s called). I don’t have a better DPS, so it is what it is.
he has a constellation that buffs crit for the team so I guess grace wont benefit from that maybe thats part of the anti synergy idk
@@aquatazer im using anton as my main dps with anby and nicole, the only S rank ive pulled is two koledas and she doesn't really fit into the base roster of attackers I feel like with a shock bangboo and anby I do get enough shock to make anton rotate comfortably though. planning to get zhu yuan and qingyi so that should help with my current comps
@@Shirviu Koleda is for Soldier 11. But she's one of the only 3 stunners in the game as well.
Starting out from the game, I can comfortably say that Rina + Anton + Andy seems to be the easiest FTP team to progress.
I have them, and Shark. But not sure if i should ignore shark or not. Can you suggest? I dont have that puppy guy yet.

@@KazeKumo shark can be played solo, she doesn't need a team. Even Soukaku's insane buffs aren't required.
I don't have Rina, so I use Nicole instead, and I've found that team to still be quite good. Definitely a good choice for a 2nd team early on with only one non-free 4 star.
Currently having fun with anomality stuff using both grace and piper in a team and both of them stack their debuffs really quickly probably even better once I get my hands on actuall gear nit so sure about the support currently tho.

I'm not taking the game too seriously so my goal was to pray for a meme team of the characters with the biggest "assets", without knowing anything about them. I got Rina on the intro banner and Grace after just 40 pulls on standard. I didn't think it would be THAT easy to pull off.
Anyway, I was very pleasantly surprised that both of these characters are actually incredibly useful, and actually synergize with each other as well. I kind of fell into the Rina/Grace/Anton setup but even having one of these characters can help a lot of teams it seems like. Being unapologetically thirsty paid off this time I guess, lol.

After 4 days of 10 hour grinding every day i got my shark. Thank god i did not lose my 50/50. By the way the game got a lot harder now compared to the beginning. Especially hard mode. And it is only level 30. Cant wait for the endgame at level 50-60

The only units I desperately want in this game right now are Rina and Grace. I can't bother rerolling too much so I ended up with Lycaon on both accounts... Really hoping I get either Grace or Rina soon so I know I can guarantee the other with the selector.
Okay then, apparently i was pretty fortunate with my 2 S ranks being Soldier and Lycaon
There are some enemy with physical res though, just very rare like the 3 mech bosses
So basically everyone is actually good in their own aspect. Some more powerful than others but still. That nice for once
I run grace as 3rd slot quite a lot, even over anby and she works great (lvl 31)
Grace is great to deal with multiple mobs at once she is super easy to use and safe since u can be at a good distance while killing everyone.

Nekomata's passive slightly hard to trigger if you do not have Support and only use her to hit shield broken enemy (its trigger with dodge or quick assist).
So, i recommend to nekomata users to use support rather than piper. Assault trigger still hard even you use piper, better you trigger her another skill nekomata rather than assault trigger anomaly when she herself can trigger assault.
Tbh i tried Zhu yuan for now did not feel comfortable with her but still gonna pull for her since already got the S ether Bangboo for her , waiting for the Pubsec Bangboo since i plan to pull for Qingyi and Miyabi , i planned to main the Pubsec and Cunning Hares faction
Hey mrPokke could you make a video about the reception zenless got in china ? By reading comments or something I am wondering what's their opinion on the game because there's a lot of misinformation online
It's always hard to actually have a clear picture of the game's reception in China. Since there is a group of people who are hell bent on hating any MiHoYo games, but a the same time, there is also a group of mihoyo gamers who are willing to give a good review just because it's a MiHoYo game. I'll just give you what I've learnt.
1. There is an organized effort to discredit MiHoYo games. Cos on the 4th the so called #1 trending was "ZZZ Boring" but at 10 PM on the 5th (GMT + 8, or 3 hours after the 4.8 preview), the #1 trending was "Natlan Ugly". A lot of bot users and scripts were spotted, but to be honest this is expected for new releases (Even Wuwa got that treatment).
2. Lots of video complaining about the "simplicity" of the game. calling it an "aaa game" (since all u click is one button continuously). Also video retorting on it, joking that those complaining might think that solider 11 is a physical character (throwing shade that they don't even know that her skills can deal fire damage). There is a whole poem made, it's really difficult to translate but it's all about users now fully understanding the skills and then complaining the mechanics as simplistic.
I'm quite confident to say that there are people out there actively making videos and comments discrediting ZZZ but I'm also quite certain that this game has it flaws and isn't for everyone. As for its commercial success, it has topped a few charts as expected, and it's actually already the top a few charts on the playstation. The CN community anticipate that ZZZ will outperform Genshin on Playstation in US and Europe (If I'm not wrong Genshin was PS's top earner two years in a row or smth, but Japan and Korea contributed the most).
I wasn't there during Genshin's Release but I was there during HSR release. The CN internet landscape is roughly the same. A lot of people complained that HSR was boring, story unskipable, gacha system sucks. A lot of them even stated that the company was going backwards (from open-world to turn-based) and it's the end of MiHoYo. If you think r/gachagaming was harsh the CN community is a thousand times worse.
I generally watch these videos for fun. I'm more inclined to try out MiHoYo game because the company has proven to me that they can deliver, and I actually do enjoy ZZZ, more so even than Genshin, but less so than HSR.
I guess I won. I got Rina on the 50 pity. Still didnt win early as I used all my master tapes and at 50 pity again totally 100 pulls. But side note. People hating on the combat wayyyy too hard. I think its fun

We're all still in the early game. None of this matters while you're progressing through the story mode anyway, since it's content made to be cleared by everyone.
We'll have to wait and see how it holds up in the MoC 12 equivalent for ZZZ, where I imagine type matching (or countering) will be way more important, at least until we invest a year or RNG and support units into juicing tf out of our teams to be able to brute force our way through it.
Well.. I lost my 50/50 on Ellen.. but to Lycaon, and then got her right after so.. I'm set, got plenty copies of Soukaku along the way. But I did get Grace from the beginner banner, I'll wait til I can get Rina and then build that as my 2nd team I guess. Just don't like how we can't really choose our standard banner units (at least until 300 pulls, which takes a long time for low spenders/f2p).

Question: Does Nekomatas Assult buff also works if SHE is the one who triggers it? I want to run her with Anby and either Nicole or Soukaku. I want to build Nicole and Soukaku because they they can also be good in other teams but Piper would only be good in a Physical Anomaly comp.

So CN prefers agents that can defeat mech enemies interesting. What does the west feel like they need to fight and compete with then? This is some cool information.
They only prefer them due to most bosses being Mech atm. Later on more bosses will be added that willl benefit the rest of characters.
If West were to invest in comps that mix anomalies so they can benefit from disorder then maybe it could compete.
My Anby/Rina/Grace team feels busted for anything where you dont need to break the cryo shields.

@@NeverClimbingAnything not the MoC equivalent will be clearable with anything fairly easily/with some basic investment. That's just how MHY gacha work.
You only need to worry about hard meta stuff in the MoC mode, where they try and sell you characters the hardest.
lycaon and shoukaku is literally broken af. i cleared all content available at interknot 28 just spamming chain atk with just that 2 unit at lvl 30.
Tried SD Floor 6 with lvl30 Mono Ice and they COOKED the enemies. Can't do Floor 7 rn tho cause it needs 2 teams.

Bangboo currency scarcity is something to worry about.
Bangboo being pseudo gacha is such a dogshit system. I am enjoying the game, but I know that I'll hate that system because it's another layer of RNG for no reason.
Bangboos don't make big difference, they are just extra. Just use any, it doesn't really matter.
if you use the blue disc mats to just fish for drive discs, you can get a workable DPS set. hitting 30-50k on ellen ults now with her meta team.
I pulled koleda and nekomata and unfortunately there aren't any units that can link the two in a team. I like koleda more as a unit but the team options i have for her rn are anton without grace, or ben without Soldier 11. Pain

i case of rina m1, what does buff increase to 130% meaning? is it 30%max * 130% = 39%max pen.ratio? or 30 > 130% of rina pen.ratio? so she doesnt need to build much pen.ratio.

Pretty much in the same situation as Nihilitg units from HSR rn lol. Supossedly dedicated debuffers, but somehow have a lot of DPS potential (Pela, Wolf), especially the most recent Nihility units.

Can't Soldier 11 trigger fire suppression without energy just by timing basic attacks? I assume that's why the energy cost is high. In the trial missions for her side story it didn't even seem that hard to time correctly. Or are the timed attacks not getting the bonuses the other triggers get?

@@saggyai7670 instead of mashing as fast as possible there's a rhythm to it. It's honestly not that much slower than mashing though. I only played her in her story mission but I think you want to hit attack when the previous attack connects with the enemy. Someone who has the character could probably explain better

Rina isnt just good as a support, her personal damage is crazy. You can cast her EX special into her ultimate (which has absurd scaling) and it all stays on field while you swap out to another character. I got both Grace and Rina in about 80 pulls from the standard banner and use Anby as the 3rd slot and that team wipes anything that isnt electro resistant or shielded. Anby puts enemies into stun and the Rina/Grace assist combos finish them off.

The hardest part of starting any new gacha game is learning the mechanics, what characters do, what the resources are, and what the economy is like. Mr. Pokie is out doing it all for us.
i dunno if its considered lucky, but i dont want the dog but got it on the first 10 pulls, rerolled my acc then got it again on another first 10 pull... rerolled acc again, yep.. got it again on 30 pulls..

I am planning to pull for Miyabi (she'll be DPS 100% but which element?) so getting Nekomata as my first S rank secured me a good DPS until she's released.
And I got Rina's W-engine so my Nicole is pretty well equipped. (have prefered a character than this but got it and Nekomata in 50 pulls so it's okay).

remember that in future we will have more niche Bangboo - by now better to pick up the most suitable for damage type you use (e.g. i have Grace, so pick up shock / electro one)

I feel there is more to that, than increased anomaly build up due to the same element with active agent.
Like real DPS, considering travel time, animation length, autoaim, usefullness of mentioned interapt in description or energy supporting capabilities.
And we can't really make this consideration by ourself due to limit of summons and bangboo exp.
Faction bangboos seems to be better. I’d save and wait for new bangboos for the incoming factions. 4 star ones are good enough for now
Say what you will about the furry being top tier, but this is unironically a masterful play by MHY. Furries go fucking HARD into the things they're repped in, so when you have one of the biggest devs around giving them rep in a triple A gacha, you know their asses are gonna full send for him.

Well, you want either two Ether or two of whatever faction Zhu Yuan is to make her work. If she's Victoria Housekeeping, then Lycaon and Rina will function, but if she's not, you'll need Nicole for the double Ether buff.

Guess CN is overthinkin about mechs and S11 because we'll reach that very far endgame in like 1.1-1.2 patches (because we as f2p will be far behind with IL from whales) so the enemies might change and also new s11's faction chars might be added. And in early games multipliers matter much more than Nekomata will drop much faster because of her dodge counter style(enemies which is stunnned cannot attack so you cant dodge counter them). I think all rounders is far more worse than niche for this game with 6 chars needed for the endgame

@@kwayke9 Koleda’s pretty good! Goes nicely with that free Ben. My Soukaku is also M3 (Anton M4 too) and he’s the best buff support rn (ZZZ’s Bennett). Wonder if they’re sticking with only 2 A ranks every banner, it’s pretty nice for dupes so can’t complain

Does anyone know if anomaly buildup is universal? Can you build up anomaly from one element and switch to trigger on another? As an example, can you use grace to build up anomaly and then swap to piper to trigger phys anomaly instead of shock?
Yes, that's called Distortion.
Distortion is a result of combining two different Attribute types. While this might seem like a bad idea at first, it overrides the initial build-up and instead switches to Distortion, which will cause damage when fully built up and also causes more Daze. Daze is a very powerful state in the game, as enemies are open to any kind of attack, and you can do powerful chain attacks by taking advantage of your heavy attacks with ease.

bcz i found all MAID faction and ICE unit need to CHARGED ATTACK which is felt clunky also waiting lot of time, ntm RINA switch tech took lot of animation and make the positioning too far and all over the place.. Ellen is good tho, she is powerful, but we all know she is gonna be the first to be powercrept as new patches coming.. so i dumped ellen+rina account n playing koleda account,, clearing shiyu defence with ease, straight fire team comps from start to end Koleda+Lucy+Flex.. saving pulls for upcoming fire dps (Lighter/Professor) or Physcal DPS in Sons of Calydon Faction.

Either by chance in the weapon / stable channel or you save up the points you get from pulling a/s ranks until you get 600 and you can choose her weapon from the shop
Do not buy the standard weapons from the shop it’s a waste of 30 pulls. The moment they release a limited fire dps it will be a better option

Standard banners supports NEVER LAST, they'll get powercrept and fall into oblivion soon, because almost everyone will pull for limited supports, who are vastly superior than the standard ones, and whatever dps you have will scales off of them hard and become way better, but the standard supports will only get replaced.
Like HSR, people massively overrated Bronya before RM release as she was the only 5* Harmony, calling her universal god-tier, the only unit that matters, never get powercreep, irreplaceable, blah blah blah, and guess what happened when RM and others limited release, now Bronya got replaced in every team and has basically become irrelevant. Back then people used to say only pick Bronya for 300 pick, but now nobody cares, and people actually suggest picking dps like Clara and Himeko instead, cuz they can scale well with the limited supports, and have become way more relevant. Same stories for Gepard or Bailu were top S+ tier at release, now worse than 4 stars even. The only characters that will age well in Standard are actually dps, cuz they can become better with new supports
So the same thing will happen for ZZZ with supports character like Lycaon as well, once they start rolling out limited 5 stars supports, their time is over, no need for the change of content or anything, cuz everyone will pull for the powercreep supports and replace the standard ones
