What are the type of tasks and the fields that you tackle (coding, data engineering technical aspects...) ? thank you for your answer.
I was taking care of data automation (building pipelines, creating data lakes, etc), ensuring data quality and building reports/dashboards. All those tasks required a different amount of coding and architecture planning, everything had their own technical aspects to take care of - it was very broad in terms of responsibilities!

Thank you for watching! I use Redshift most of the time. When it comes to coding, by software do you mean IDE? In that case, I would say PyCharm.
So is web dev knowledge/ full stack dev involved in this role.... Because you mentioned building dashbords and working with databases.....?
No, sql for data bases and programs like power bi, Tableu, quick site etc for dashboard

I had a very linear (and boring) path: studied Computer Engineering both bachelor and master. However, I know plenty of colleagues who got to the job from law, economics or other backgrounds!

Do have to do coding for BI. Engineers?
It depends by the company and team you want to join. You need to master SQL, but when it comes to programming languages (such as Python for example) the level of expectation can be different from company to company and even within teams in the same company. In my opinion/experience, you should be at least able to build some automations and small pipelines in order to have some chances to pass the technical interview for the role. I hope it helps!
