WHY WAS GHOST MOM AND YOUNG MICHAEL IN THIS???
Rob did get me to cry so there's something
I do not own the rights to this movie...this is simply a reactionary video
There was a section that got copyrighted and when I trimmed it out, it accidentally took out a part where I was speaking. It's the scene where Loomis is in the car and tells the lady to "please voice her opinion." My part after that gets cut off. I say "She's been telling you THIS ENTIRE TIME."
this one is DEFINITELY a leap into the disturbing...
I understand the whole WHITE HORSE aspect. That's why she was hallucinating. Being in the presence of her trigger made her snap.
house of 1000 corpses, the devils rejects,3 from hell and 31 were good rob zombie films also and worth the watch
Jennie, the girl that reacts with me sometimes to other horror movies told me I have to watch Devil's rejects. She really loves that movie so I told her I would. I never saw another Rob Zombie movie outside the Halloween ones. I feel like it's something I have to do lol
11:32 Best fan-edit of this movie puts Donald Pleasance's face in there.
OMG that's genius 🤣🤣🤣
The unrated version's scene of Bracket and Annie is even more emotional, I cried.
Speaking of the unrated, the ending's different, and there's several different scenes, and the movie takes place 2 years later.
hot mess u are being kind lol....its a dumpster fire to only ever be watched once🤣
🤣🤣🤣
once and never again haha
Michael killing because a hallucination of his mother tells him to is even dumber than 6's Thorn stuff.
@@Xehanort10 Exactly! It's just a little too Jason Vorhees for me lol
@@tashatipton2141 Ironically Rob Zombie hates Jason but Tyler Mane's character is more a combo of Jason, Leatherface and Norman Bates than Michael Myers.
The Mom and young Michael are a construct of Michael’s psychosis. Laurie being related essentially shares is psychosis. So the Mom is “out of character” because she is Michael. Her and young Michael are Michael’s inner monologue.
You watched the Theatrical Cut which is more favorable to Laurie which shows her struggle with ptsd and her blood ties. Only to crack.
The Director’s Cut is less favorable towards her. And only through the Director’s commentary is the ending made clear. But I actually like both of these movies. I think it’s the best take on having Michael and Laurie be related to each other. I find that Laurie succumbing to the Madness that is in her blood line makes sense. Over her becoming the antithesis of her brother.
lol this one’s still better than Halloween Ends IMO
is it though?
@@Kenny-ep2nfYes it is.
Honestly, Ends & Resurrection are still better than this film for the simple fact that they never had Michael Myers actually scream "DIE!"
Fans can hate Ends & Resurrection all they want, they're flawed films but Laurie was still a likable enough character to root for in both of those films, which is more than I could say for Laurie in these movies, especially this one. Laurie & Dr. Loomis were sooo unlikable in this film that I actually rooting for Michael to take them both out, which is a shame as someone that loves those characters.
@@TheBraunMachine2K24 I was rooting for Michael Myers in all versions of Halloween
Yeah, Annie's death got me too. Was not expecting it to be so heartbreaking. Danielle and Scout sold it. And I gotta hand it to Rob for making it so tragic and emotional in a movie full of cold, over the top brutality.
JUSTICE FOR ANNIE 😭😭😭
@@tashatipton2141 the director's cut makes it even more impactful. The added scenes make it soul crushing. Annie was holding everyone together even though she was deeply traumatized herself. She's the unsung hero of that movie.
was the actress for Annie also in other Halloween movies?
@@Kenny-ep2nf Yes she played Michael's niece Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4 and 5.
@@LiirThropp2687 nice
I took it as, she was Micheal Myers the whole time in this 2nd one, and Michael died in the first. It's all in her mind, that's how confusing this one was lovely Tasha. I loved the first Rob Zombie one though.
really?
@@Kenny-ep2nf Yeah, when she steps out the cabin with Michael's mask on, I thought it was a twist ending, indicating it was her the whole time, and every scene of Michael was in her head. It's not until later I found out she wasn't the killer. It blew my mind.
@@justinpatton6996 the whole thing sounds like a big cluster
Aesthetically this is my fav look of Michael myers, love his jacket and mask
Shared bathroom between 2 bedrooms which is why 2 doors ❤
Ooooohhhh yeah I didn't even think about that 🤦♀️. I guess I was never fancy enough to get that experience 🤣
@@tashatipton2141 me either I only know this because I stayed in a couple hotels and the bathroom was shared with the neighbor room and as soon as you said that it triggered that memory 🤣🤣 I honestly never thought about that the whole movie until you mentioned it
Greetings Miss Tipton ✌️ I love your reaction videos ❤
hearts galore! I love ya tasha and halloween. even rob zombies work!
This movie would have been so much better if they kept it in the hospital instead of going so far away from what the original Halloween 2 was like.
Great reaction lol yeah this 9ne qent into a weird direction for sure from Zombie but at least we got Chucky in it lol 😅 speaking of which I'm so excited to see you finish those and the series lol what are you up to again? Bride or Seed? Lol
I just thought about that not too long ago. I was like damn I really need to get back to the Chucky series. The last one I did was childs play 3 so bride is next!
Yeah Michael killing because of his mom was just a little too Jason Vorhees for me 🤣🤣🤣
@@tashatipton2141 Oops sorry for typos haha. It's funny you say that since Jason is actually a ripoff of Michael haha. Years ago the writer admitted it saying "we'll just ripoff off Halloween" when they created Friday The 13th that's kind of funny.
This version of Michael feels kind of similar to Jason but with a totally different story than the Carpenter Michael, who is supernatural and just pure evil. This version just felt like a hick, brute with mommy issues haha.😂😂 I see what you mean there with this version of Michael being similar to Jason with the mommy issues lol.
Ahh ok Bride, cool. Yeah Chucky thankfully is the one slasher series without 10 different timelines like other IPs lol (with the 2019 Child's Play reboot being an exception but that's also it's own universe all together) but thankfully classic Chucky is one main continuity which is rare but also less complex haha.
None of you get it, the whole movie takes place inside Laurie's head inside the crazy House. Not a hot mess, but a work of art. Why must I explain this all the time.
FR man, btw nice pfp :)
Did you finish the whole franchise? I can’t remember. If so, do a franchise ranking. 🥺👉👈
No I haven't. I reacted to the first 3 Halloweens, these two and then all of the 2018 trilogy. I'm planning on getting back on track to finish the rest of them up!
i really love the directors cut of this one, changes the tone of it a lot and has a better ending
Dislike both versions but the director cut is definitely better.
I always forget about director's cuts and never look to see if there is one before doing a reaction🤦♀️
Idk why people are finally reacting to these. I’m here for it tho. And I’m sorry but there’s absolutely nothing funny about a movie about not only a serial killer but ptsd also.
I curse, sometimes a bit too much, but man, even I feel ashame of all the cursing in this movie. I felt sad for almost nobody who was taken out by Michael
Yea because movies are only supposed to reflect your personal values, they're not made for millions of different people with different sensibilities.
(Sarcasm)
I love the brutality in this movie. Tyler Mane was excellent. I love his physical presence. This was a great sequel.
Disagreement on the HIGHEST level
@@christopherb501 Idg*f about what you think.
I feel like this movie would have been great if its was all about the hospital area and Mikael just randomly goes around killing people and chasing Laurie, the scene when he killed the nurse (yeah the dark one) was just such a moment when we see Mikael just raging in full raw glory in a simple manner if stabing, Rob Zombie was great with those scenes. But the rest of the movie was just pure fucking awful nonsence.
There’s an alt ending to the movie where the sheriff and the cops takes michael out.
The Annie death scene is done so well, breaks my heart every time.
Same. Especially when her dad finds her. 🥺 I have to hand it to Rob. That was surprisingly heartbreaking and powerful for a slasher movie.
JUSTICE FOR ANNIE!!!! 😭😭😭
Zombie said there was a lot of interference while making this from the studio and that didn't help.❤the first one though.💓👍🇬🇧P.S will you be reacting to more Friday the 13th?🤞
He didn't want to do it, right? So because of that he didn't give two craps and just did it because he was being forced. Or am I thinking of a different horror sequel?
YES!!! I just thought about the Friday the 13th series after filming this and thought it's been awhile so I need to get back to it! That's the next horror movie I'm doing after The Changeling 🤗
@@tashatipton2141 Great thanks Tasha and if that movie The Changeling is the one with George C Scott it's another good choice by you.😉👍💓🇬🇧
I'm so glad you commented on the mom because I agree 🤣🤣 wtf is with her being there like if it was important to have her in the movie they literally could have given her a different role, the bouncer Michael killed was also the host and joke teller at the party after Michael killed him
This is my least fav in the franchise, but I get why people like it. Annie’s death and Laurie and her dad finding her is SO emotional. The most emotional in the series.
Michael’s mom was a part of his twisted fucked up imagination. And Sherri was in the movie cause her husband is the director.
I see why, first one was better
Just when you thought the first continuity got confusing and stupid...
That's why you should watch Agents of Shield season 4 episode 7. You will love what Mac does!
Omg it's like you are psychic! That's the next video coming out!!!! 🤣🤗
@@tashatipton2141 I'm so excited!!!
your pigs are SOOOO cute oml
Petey (the spotted one) is the biggest sweetheart ever but Taco (the black and white one) can sometimes get in these moods and just want to have an attitude 🤣. He can still be very sweet though as well when he wants to be
Love rob zombie love the first movie but not a fan of this one ,that doesn't define rob in anyway ,hes super talented this movie won't change that.
Loved this reaction ❤
Jennie, the girl that appears in some of the horror movie reactions with me, told me I have to do the Devil's Rejects. I will be doing that one sometime soon since the only Rob Zombie movies I have seen are these ones.
@@tashatipton2141 ❤️❤️
Beautifully shot movie, but a mess non the less
I saw this one like a year ago and found it weird, the 1st one was heaps better
watch Martyrs 2008
There's a version on CZcams that someone did and "fixed" what's wrong with this and it's actually pretty good. Great reaction as always
They didn't fix shit, they chopped it to make it more like Carpenter original, which ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE 🤦♂️
@@millyoneyedeaz1350People get mad if filmmakers keep things the same. They get mad if filmmakers try to do something different. There's just no pleasing some people.
oh no way
RZ Halloween 2 is not my favorite but I do like it and am more than happy that I get to watch it again with you definitely look forward to the end of this video for your thoughts on it ❤
did you feel this way the first time seeing it?
@@Kenny-ep2nf I paid $15 dollars to see it in theaters and felt like it was a waste of money, it's not a bad movie it just doesn't hit the part 2 spot for me probably because zombie didn't want to make it so didn't put as much effort into it, RZ Michael Myers both 1 and 2 are my favorite Michael Myers next to Chris Duran, (H20) Michael Myers
@@Kenny-ep2nf I did forget to mention aside from paying $15 to see it in theaters and feeling like it was waste I bought parts 1 and 2 for $6 on Amazon and couldn't be more satisfied having it on DVD
@@Capital_D wait was it part 1 or part 2 you paid for to see in theaters?
@@Kenny-ep2nf part 2
First
It's a comedy film
Whats "confusing" about it?
I wish yall would pay attention, its not supposed to be like the original and far as a backstory goes, the original series already gave him one so you cant accept those then complain about Rob.
I will mever understand the logic of watching a reimaginng, complaining the whole time that its different 😂
true
@Kenny-ep2nf I don't understand folks these days, they go into entertainment like it's Burger King. Instead of watching a film and understanding it on its own terms, these ppl sit there and whine about what they wanted to happen instead of absorbing what did. Then wonder why the story makes no sense to them.
It's like the people who got so upset the sibling angle was removed in the Blumhouse trilogy, they couldn't understand the 2018 or Kills story and expected Ends to be something they were never promised.
@@millyoneyedeaz1350 honestly I think it's best not to reply on movie reviews before watching a movie as heaps of people complain about a lot of stuff even if it's uncalled for, I personally like 99% of Halloween movies as they all had an interesting theme to explore. I think film critics have gotten harsher overtime
Nobody got it. I mean nobody.
