I play gears on a pc nowadays. Generally it's a good experience, but it would be cool to have a Series S just to play gears 3 in 60fps. This game looks so good. I used to grind pvp for hours and hours.
This also felt like the most consistent and balanced gears imo. Say what you will about the retro and sawedoff, I found the frag grenades to be the only weapon in the game to feel busted.
I feel like every weapon in this game could be situationally overpowered. Almost all weapons can kill in one hit. All apart of the charm.

Been having fun playing Gears 3 just sad that most servers you can't bounce on without it skipping really bad. If only they would update servers, then it would be perfect again.
And if you can't bounce, your stopping power won't work either.

Single shot Hammerburst was killer on here. Didn't play GoW4 but GoW5 really didn't have that OG feel; only thing they really got right were graphics and movement.
The chicken is strafing had me choking I was laughing so damn hard.

They changed the ink way back so it doesn't insta stun you like it did on the game's release. But if it explodes under you, it'll stun you and then follow your character. Added some skill to throwing the ink grenade
they took that out of the game too. it’s not supposed to stun you at all but the game keeps reverting to the launch version for some reason
Icy, you ever pose at the end of a match in this game? My buddy and I would try to pose for the camera after the match since it was the same spot each time. Hilarious at times. Also, if you had a meatshield you could snap the neck at the right time and slowly walk away. What a game!!😅

So gears 3 is my favorite game of all time. For a while, like 2020-2022 I played online with my friend who was the best gnashes user of all gears time, GsQ Adonis. We encountered a lot of lag during our time together, and the game is so old and depopulated by safe connections that, yes, it just lags out most of the time now; one of the bad parts of the lag is thst now the game reverts back to its old pre-beta tuning sometimes, as well as some maps not being in the game sometime; also yes the inks still stun because of the lag. I very much miss the game, but I cant take the lag anymore.
And say what you want, but my buddy GsQ Adonis is the best gnasher user on Gears 3. I saw him go against pro players and no one could ever beat him with his skill. He’s the best.

yes, ink grenades used to stun, late update/fix for absolutely no reason.
I remember that it was like 3 years in when they removed the stun. And I remember when it was easier to punish chainsawers too
Used to be, the game would glitch and it would revert back to version 1 settings, including ink stuns and different weapon placements. But now really late in the games lifespan ink stuns are back.
