Just ordered my decant today and now I’ve found this vid! 👍🏾 surprised how much I love wearing rose and fragrances with rose notes…it was a COMPLETE surprise to me.
In store a clerk offered a rose scent but didn’t tell me rose was in it… I loved it and went on a rose sampling spree….that was a year ago.❤❤🌹🌹
That’s awesome to hear! So many guys are scared of rose. I try to get as many into it as possible. There are some excellent choices these days that are perfect for men!

A high quality rose fragrance but a bit on the feminine side. I still love it.

I thought oud ispahan is my favorite parfume when I tried it , then I thought checkmate is absolutely for me , but now I love this fragrance it changes my mood I feel happy and sad at the same time, I wear it mostly at the bed time, smells great.

I'm partial to Oud, woodsy fragrances and had to grow into florals. I bought this blind and initially questioned my decision when I smelled the opening.
But the dry down tho! Wow! This is a unique, complex fragrance for the mature connoisseur. Its different in a good way and I'm looking forward to trying other floral based men's parfums.
Yes! The dry down is luxurious. That opening is not for the faint of heart lol. A good oud is almost unbeatable to me also. Signals quality for sure.
I finally got to smell the whole line yesterday, lyric man and overture women are the best for me in the whole house , even smelled their new attars. Nice video

@@KJWofficial that’s was another house I smelled yesterday I smelled three or four of the boadicia and they smelled pretty bad to me I didn’t understand the hype . I know one of them was blue saphire and it was awful smelling to me . I plan on revisiting them in the future and see if I feel differently. I couldn’t smell all of them was gf was rushing me smh

4 Sprays 2 days after, i can still smell it. I love it! I tipicaly go 4 Sprays minimum 6 Maximum but with this 4 is Maximum 2 Minimum.
Absolutely. Mine has sat for a while now and 2 sprays seems to really radiate even more. Such a great clean fragrance that stands out

Would you say this a safe blind buy ? Also, I read some reviewers about the performance being bad due to reformulation. What batch year is yours.
I would not suggest it as a blind buy unless you have a lot of experience in niche middle eastern perfumery. It’s a truly unique one. Amouage as a house I would suggest sampling first is the way to go actually.
I think it truly wears different on everyone. Women compliment me every time I wear this fragrance meanwhile I can barely smell it on myself. One time I smelled it projecting off of me while driving in the car with the ac blowing on me, I was wow’ed because it took me so long to pick up the true essence of it. I would wear it more but I have to admit it does have a dated-ness vibe to my nose - sometimes.. not all the time but sometimes.
That’s a good point. I do believe that the bath clean rose essence can play to a dated side also.
What would you consider a weapon that has excellent sillage?
Along this same line I really like Oud Satin (or Silk) Mood from MFK. Such great long lasting sillage trails and sexy. Also I’m really liking Les Sables Roses from Louis Vuitton. It’s not as long lasting but wow that sillage has gotten me crazy compliments.
The pine ruined it for me. In the dry down it gave me Polo Green vibes.

I think so because of the clean soapy dna. But because it it’s fairly strong I would just back down my sprays to maybe 2
