Because u can just use time travel or the multiverse to Brin them back so there are no real consequences
And the best exmaple of this when anakin in return of jedi kills palpatine, it ruins redemption becuase palpatine had clones of himself and was brought back in the rise do skywalker which undermined everything anakin did

Palps came back in legends it’s not any different plus it didn’t ruin anakins redemption anakin still killed palps the one in ep. 9 was a clone plus it established how powerful and really dangerously unpredictable he was. Plus there’s other iron men in the universe that are still alive based on rdj’s iron man
