Play against Barca, AI cheats you.. defenders catch up to you and win every battle, at times it almost seem like they run faster and your players reactions is very slow, it’s pretty frustrating, they press you so fast they get to your intended open player before the ball does, not to mention they get every call no fouls, and a bit of Gk bs to ad insult to injury
AI difficulty is different in a regular game than in tournaments, in tournaments they boost their players and weakens yours. (this is not max difficulty)
Whats so frustrating, is how unrealistic wing forward behaves, they never backtrack! You can't play a 352, or let your fullbacks push up, because your oppnonent will just let their front 3 stay in offense. The AI never seem to use fluid formation, which means you can have a big tactical advantage.
Hey dude, check out my best online formation - they track back if you apply them as LM/RM and set Wing Backs in the Adv. Instructions, works so well... or apply man-marking like my previous best formation for LM/RM. Cheers bro
Spoony Pizzas I meant offline against AI. If you play team with 433, they always let all their forwards stay up the field waiting for a long ball on the wing. Upside is that they give you room on the wing as well. But it doesn't feel realistic. Same as the non existent midfield. It's mostly end to end action on this difficulty it seems?
Thanks dude :) - the part 2 focuses on weaker teams who tend to pack the defence and counter attack...which tend to be more difficult than playing against a harder team who press high.

I just learned that you can transfer players during your master league By just exiting out of your master league going to edit in the main menu you can change their gear and when you go back into your master league it’s done. Can you do that for transfers as well??

I had just played against legend and it took me 3 matches to get used to their style and win a 30mins match, so i was surprised by its difficulty that's why i looked for this to see if others are also struggling with legend . I played against PSG and man that was just crazy ! Cavani was playing like a superhuman ! He does everything !! AI are too strong u can't win a duel ! Konami must be more realistic

Un Rollin Hi dude, for me to finish that type of season...30mins per game at -2 - I'd never be able to make it as well as produce the videos. That is simply too big an ask mate, sorry. Then in My Club My team Only have 2 stars and I already beat The COM for 7 times in a row in myclub and The difficulty is Only at "intermedian" what The Hell?! Why doesn't rise?! Or I Have to have a 5 star team to play agaisnt COM on Legend dificulty on myclub??

I don't play full manual as I consider the through ball to be broken and I have a LOT of bad habits from basic 1 passing such as using backwards through balls, to bring players from the back forward. I used to play full manual on PES 2017 but that was cake. Cheers
The problem for us, Ever since PES 2017 we started to play with NO pass assistance to make the game more challenging (and we consider us hardcore PES players after many yrs playing co-op (together)) in this version we notice on legend difficulty its extremely hard to build up attacks..... combination play is hard, so were hoping for tips!!! also we play the pc version at the moment..is there any difference in play-ability with the console version?
richielovessuus Hi mate, I have pc and PS4 versions and I would say the pc version difficulty feels slightly easier but slightly less responsive than the PS4 and I'm better with a PS4 pad than my Xbox one pad. I find with manual passing the AI does struggle to work out where the ball is sometimes on the PS4. It's hard to build attacks with assistance on as well as their stats are boosted, noticed this when Pogba was outmuscled by David Silva. I did further testing which showed that the AI have all form arrows up which adds somewhere between 4.8-6% to their stats. Worked this out by going into Exhibition, setting form arrow up for both teams on Legend and it felt slightly more challenging than Superstar... Like if superstar was in a cup final or rival match. Basically, Legend you can't afford the AI to touch you, otherwise you get dispossessed really easily as you can see in this video, keep trying to move the ball. I don't know if it's more difficult with co-op as I only play online when my mate comes over. Sorry I haven't been much help mate.

Legend difficulty is a bloody joke! It’s a clear example of Konami being lazy & unimaginative... superstar is too easy & im talking 5-0 almost every game even when playing against Barca.

I'm playing Master League in a Legend level. In a whole season I won just 11 games.
Think I'm switching back to Super-Star.
Legend is brutal. Especially the lesser teams who sit back and defend in numbers.
