- The Škorpion vz. 61 (or Sa vz. 61 Skorpion) was developed in 1959 by Miroslav Rybář (1924-1970) and produced under the official designation Samopal vzor 61 ("submachine gun model 1961") by the Česká zbrojovka arms factory in Uherský Brod from 1963 to 1979.
The Škorpion is a select-fire, straight blowback-operated weapon that fires from the closed bolt position. The cartridge used produces a very low recoil impulse and this enables simple unlocked blowback operation to be employed; there is no delay mechanism and the cartridge is supported only by the inertia of the bolt and the strength of the return springs. When fired, gas pressure drives the case back in the chamber against the resistance provided by the weight of the bolt and its two recoil springs. The bolt travels back, extracting the empty case which is then ejected straight upwards through a port in the receiver housing top cover.

Personally, I'm not really interested in guns as guns......... but as examples of very different engineering approaches to accomplish the same tasks, they're fascinating as hell. If you know how one modern car engine goes together, you can pretty much strip most other makes of modern engine without many surprises, but firearm manufacturers seems to have all come up with their own unique mechanisms to automate what is fundamentally the same job of loading rounds, firing bullets, and ejecting the spent cases.
Being able to see the Interaction of components while they cycle through their operation in your various levels of cutaway animation is like an engineering equivalent of ballet ! :D

Since this is a free-to-play game where you have to monotonously advance and unlock new weapons step by step. But there is a shortcut, I bought full access on Steam: "World of Guns: Guns Full Access", gaining access to all types of firearms in the game and the one that the developers will release. On seasonal sales on Steam, you can often buy this access for half the price.

Когда затвор после выстрела доходит в крайнее заднее положение он зацепляется специльным зацепом, внутри рукоятки установлена система которая высвобаждает затвор из зацепа. Это сделано из-за легкого затвора, что приводит к увеличеному темпу стрельбы ~1000 выстрелов в минуту, эта система позволяет снизить темп до ~850 выстрелов в минуту. Схожая система есть в моем последнем видео про PM-63 RAK.
