I went all the way from England to listen to this on my Walkman, with one foot in Arizona, the other in Nevada..... one of the best experiences of my life!

My best friend Chris, dead these 10 years, but he's he's still standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. I'm standing on the edge of the Hoover Dam. We'll meet again old friend.

on those days you just feel choked up with the urge to cry but it just won't let go - this song always does the trick for me. one of the best songs ever written, period.

Bought the album Copper Blue some 30 years ago because I liked the cover design. Some kinda Forrest Gump decision: "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get". Never regretted it! Great stuff.

    Piece by piece
    I release
    Once was mine
    Now undone
    Turned blue like new
    Orleans
    And went down like
    A southern sun
    I still feel you
    Beneath my skin
    I am tempted
    To throw my senses in
    'Cos it's easier to fly
Than to face another night in southern sun
And your love is all around"
the pieces of the puzzle in music hidden
    a lost technology forbidden
a way to learn how to fly
a blue spiral in the sky
a night of a thousand eyes
    before autumns breath arrives

I was fortunate to see Husker Du a couple times back in the early 80s when I lived in the twin cities. They were so fucking good! Bob Mould is an exceptional musician, songwriter and frontman.
