The Nissan GT-R T-spec is the last hurrah for the R35 'Godzilla' in Australia, and with a blend of nostalgia and performance, it promises to go out with a bang. James hits Sandown Raceway to stretch the T-spec's legs.

I saw this exact car today at Nissan Headquarters in Victoria. It looked amazing. I saw it as they brought it in the building for display and it was so loud. Such an amazing end to an era.

Title says 2021. Presenter says 2022. What is it?

It's just slightly detuned. Same engine. Simply retune it and to higher than Nismo specs if you want. Beast. I would hate to pay 200K more for 25 ish more kilowatts and fabric instead of leather upholstery but maybe that's just me. The premium is perfect. Screw green fabric seats.
That said, it's obviously not the safest car if you lose control and hit something on the side, hence its retirement.

‘Just wait till you drive it’ back to the Skyline R36 model (née Infiniti Q60) as Nissan Skyline GT-R part of Nissan Plus to replace Infiniti on 2023.

The R35 is really really looking old. It’s still a beast but it’s old school almost nowadays. I seriously hope we get an RB36 or something with the inline-6 again. I’m not a huge V6 fan. No denying it’s performance but not greatest sound

Next generation will not be as fast on any road race course… too much weight… mine has 750 hp and will drive away from any T Spec…
