This CITV recording is in fact from the 5th July 1996 as I did some research just this evening and it said that On the Spot began the following week on Friday 12th July.
Quite bizarre to see Spatz ending with the Thames skyline endcap seeing as they had stopped using that logo a year or so before it was made! I'm pretty sure at the time I remember at least one or two episodes in this repeat run using the "Colour Production" endcap too! I doubt they went out like that originally though, Thames shows are the ones which always suffer from their endcaps being messed about with on repeats and DVDs...
