- As revealed during Limited Run Games' digital showcase LRG3 2023, watch the announcement trailer for Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, an upcoming interactive animated adventure game inspired by and featuring talent from the infamous Zelda CD-i games of the 1990s. Check it out to see gameplay and more.
The Kingdom of Faramore is beautifully realized by Rob Dunlavey, the artist behind the world map paintings from the games that inspired Arzette. Additionally, voiceover talent from the games that inspired Arzette will be featured in the game, including Jeffrey Rath and Bonniejean Wilbur.
Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam in 2023.

If by "nostalgic throwback" you mean "the times ive laughed at the laughed at the CZcams Poops", then yes, this is quite nostalgic.
It's been 30 years and we're finally getting some Zelda CDi something on modern platforms! Also, major point for having Link's OG VA doing the lines for this trailer.

The name of the company "Seedy eye" is pure genius.
This is the closest we will get to a re-release of Link and The Faces of Evil. Nintendo better not think we will buy a next gen Switch console without backwards compatibility during this era of retro revivals; if we can't play these piles of upcoming games!

So this is basically “what if the CD-i Zelda games were as godly as the cutscenes”
DUDE, they brought back Zelda and Link's voice actors from ZWOG and LTFOE, thats is fawking amazing. Not to mention. Those cutscenes are spot on to the animations of the original, right down to the choppy framerate. Talk about commitment to the craft.
They really added a hotel mario section
Those cutscenes are uncanny in how accurate they are to the cdi games.
The idea of it coming to the Switch is the funniest part, you KNOW Nintendo was looking at this like "...Really? Alright."
