Its s pitty the LMP car spun out. Why not do another race. This time with no mistakes to see who really wins squarely.
should give the guy in the 919 a F1 licence then we would see a race not just follow the leader ..so much more skill than the F1 driver locking up constantly and all over the shop

Even for a sim the F1 driver is toss. At Le Mans an F1 car is 15-20 secs faster. That’s a track that suits the LMP1. He should be 30 secs down the road even without the crash.
This race calls for a do-over we all would love to see it again . Wouldn't it be wonderful to see road going cars have this kind of pace . How long before you think road going cars will have this kind of pace .
Too bad it was not the 919 EVO with Timo Bernhard driving.....it would easily pull away from the Red Bull. Not even close....

It wouldnt because the red Bull simply is too much near tue ground. That's one reason why F1 will never be back on the Nordschleife..
Also even if the f1 would go at attack mode it would only last 1Lap and then its ready for scrap !!

Ferrari Super This guy driving the f1 car sucked. This isnt the same track. This is the Nordschleife + nürburgring GP track. Lauda only drove Nordschleife. The 2017 car could easily do a low 5 minute lap Nordschleife and a mid 6 minute combined lap
Actually, Lauda drove a longer version of the Nordschleife. The current Nordschleife is 20,832 m. The track he drove was 22,835 m. The 2017 car can do around 4:55 at the current 20,832 m Nordschleife and around 6:10 at Nordschleife - Endurance.
