    I feel bad for Eierman. Losses happen, but this year he was clearly hobbled and honestly did not seem to have the same fire in him that he had last year and while at Missouri. It seems like the Brands brothers need to let their wrestlers properly heal from injuries. Look at the records of Penn State wrestlers from years before COVID, they tend to far fewer matches than Iowa guys because the coaching staff needs to maintain their health for March by healing properly from injuries. Marinelli, Kemerer, and Eierman are all victims of their coaching staff

    Correct call 100% houdini escape taught all over. Never locked onto his back. Now if clarke did not have the knee brace to grab onto airman wins 100%.

    • @MrGuanYu1
      @MrGuanYu1 Před 2 lety +1

      If Eierman wasn't injured he probably wins this one. He didn't do any counter-shot wrestling which is his go to and he was also constantly readjusting that brace. I'm surprised they didn't call stalling on Clarke once given that Eierman was pulling a DeSanto and moving forward 95% of the match. Especially after he got poked in the eye in the 2nd he turned up the forward pressure for a bit and...was rewarded by getting called for stalling?
      Although least they didn't hit Clarke for stalling later in the match and then that really bad stall call that should have against Clarke would have ended up being another stalling controversy so at least there's that. Still though, Eierman wasn't himself, the refs didn't help and Clarke had a masterful escape to pull out the win.

      Clarke was doing this czcams.com/video/qWVxX6Sx2Hg/video.html at the end. That’s how he won. He was already beat mostly on the takedown so he let eierman step over but I guess when your trying a move like that where you go to your back for a second and people aren’t used to seeing it there we’ll be some people who think it’s a takedown. He was on his back more than bo when he did it but that’s because he was going to come out the back door then decided to roll the other way and come out the side because of how eireman was reacting but Eireman definitely didn’t have control.
