Tip #4, yes, don't waste your time thinking you need to get better then maybe get instruction. You're just drilling bad habits. You invest a lot in this sport! Invest in yourself also, to get you started with a good foundation and fundamentals. There's so much to learn and the more you learn the more fun it is. Imho

What schools are courses would you recommend in the SLC, UT area?

I don’t know anyone that I can recommend up there. The motorcyclecoaching . com has a good register of local instructors. We are planning a summer tour with out of State training weekends. If you have a good riding area up there I’m very interested in hearing about it.
