  • Looking for a diver's watch that can withstand 200m of submersion, that has a domed sapphire on the glass and the bezel, that measured 39mm, that looks great and vintage at the same time? Look no more!

    I have the blue bronze and a lot of patina to it. Love it. It’s only there when you need it

    I love the 39 diameter but wish the lug to lug was 45 instead of 47. But regardless amazing review!

    My opinion is that Squale is much better in terms of finish, has a Swiss Longines-level mechanism. Swiss made. The price is only 100 euros higher. This is a real diver with a rich history, now it used by Italian special forces.

    • @watch_luver
      @watch_luver  Před 6 měsíci +4

      Hi there! Yes the Squale is great but it ain't 100 euros more (at least as of right now - I can hardly find it under 1000euro vs this aquascaphe that costs 600euro or less (with the silicon strap). That is a steep price difference.
      Other than that, if you have the budget, it sure is a better watch.
      Take care

    Looks great on your wrist/arm. Colour matches perfectly with the tattoos.

    Thank you for the review!
    Black strap on a navy dial/bezel would be a fashion sin for me, though

      Hey there - thanks!
      TBH i had that thought but seeing it in real life it doesn’t look that bad. That said, i agree with you! Take care

    Nice review of a beautiful watch that I have my eyes on for a while already. It's gorgeous, I'm sure it's going to be on my wrist before this year is half over. Btw, scaphandrier is the French word for diver or deep sea diver, used in the fifties and sixties for professional divers, so the name is no coincidence at all.

    • @watch_luver
      @watch_luver  Před 7 měsíci

      Thanks! Oui oui, c’est bel et bien ce que je pensait par rapport au scaphandrier mais n’ayant pas la confirmation de la part de Baltic j’ai préféré “supposer” 😌😉
      Ps: I presume you speak French?

      @@watch_luver Actually, I don't, really; I think I heard it explained in an interview with Etienne Malec, the founder of the brand, or otherwise from one of the many other reviews.

    Bonjour,
    Personnellement, je trouve que le nom fait plus penser au bathyscaphe, l'ancêtre du sous-marin moderne.
