- This was so good but on the other hand in my opinion expensive, but then as the saying goes you get what you pay for!
This is probably one of the best pork pies I have tried, tasty well seasoned £5.99
Picked this up from F W Clarke Butchers in Bramfield Suffolk.
It’s a solid 10/10
Yes I would have it again but only on a special occasion.
Thanks for watching and enjoy the video 👍

You can not beat a good pork pie plenty of salt and yes I would have paid the price quality quality quality 👍👍👍
👍
04:45 That is all you need to know lol. OVER ONE MILLION VIEWS ON THE CHANNEL.... CONGRATULATIONS BIG GUY ❤
Thanks 👍
Great believer in you get what you pay for. Decent sized pork pie and looked delicious. Worth a flutter, I'd say. Another decent pie video.
Thanks
Good quality food is worth every penny and helping local butchers looked delicious 😋
Thanks 👍
Looks lovely Andy & as you quite rightly say, “It’s Quality”. You get what you pay for. Yes I would pay £5.99 for it if it was that good.. You could have it with a nice summer salad, few pickles, cheeses& new potatoes. Nice bit of quality coleslaw & beetroot. Proper English food is that Pork pie… 👍 🏴
Sounds really nice
nice one Andy
Thanks 👍
Corrrr looks gorgeous 😍 would be fantastic with a pickle or two 😊
Definitely
👍
Hi Andy that's a good looking pie i myself prefer a bit of jelly in them but you got a good size for the price cheers mate 🍻
Thanks 👍
Good episode. You get what you pay for. However. I can't get pork pies where I live so I make my own.
I am hoping you will be doing a pork pie recipe soon. A bit of work but well worth it.
I will have to have a go at that 👍
Looks lovely not much jelly I could see in the void parts . Needs more . But if the hot pies were anything to go by they looked great as well proper pie 🥧
Thanks
Looks very nice 👌 👍
Thanks
You can see that's a quality pie, and nearly a LB in weight!
I would try one if it was on offer, but without the jelly I wouldn't bother.
👍
Andy great review would i pay £5.99p for a pork pie well yes i would if the quality/taste was there i pay 1.99p each for a handmade scotch egg at our local farm shop for my Grandson as they are QUALITY and he loves em if only they did porky pies 🙄
They sound nice
For a butchers pork pie of that size, 5.99 is about right. At least it will be tasty unlike the usual supermarket fayre. Could have done with a flooding of jelly though, or perhaps that is just me being a Yorkshireman.
😂 a lot of the pork pies nowadays don’t seem to have jelly
@@fatandy that's me showing my age then 😃
Andy Andy Andy that looks amazing mate
It was a good one 👍
Andy, it wasn't cheap, but there have been countless numbers of times I have bought something pretty ordinary for about 3.95, It has to be worth the difference for the taste and quality of the product. I sometimes go to my local farm shop and buy something that I consider to be over priced. However, once I have tasted the product, I must say that the extra couple of quid can be well worth spending to eat something a bit special.
That is very true, I have been to a local butcher etc and thought that bit of beef etc is expensive I can get that half the price in a supermarket, but when you taste the difference it’s amazing, if I had the money I would buy from a butchers/ farm shop all the while, quality at least it’s best 👍
that did look lovely
Thanks
Sounds great Andy! Where can we buy these pork pies? (we are in South Gloucestershire).
Loving your work! XXX
Thanks this was a local farm shop here in Suffolk, try your local butcher or farm shop in your area. I’m sure they will be good 👍
I am jealous watching you enjoy this pork pie. It has been at least 13yrs since i last had one. I love them so much...warm for lol. ENJOY!
Thanks it was good 😂👍
It looked like a good tasty pork pie - good quality is not cheap and that looked top quality
It was very good 👍
I love a pork pie this looks amazing well worth the price. Buy me one or seven 🤪. Nice review as always
Thanks 😂👍
Much love from New York 🗽✌🏼️
Thanks ❤️
looked great, was crying out for some English mustard mind
Sounds good 👍
Great review as always Andy! Pork Pie 🥧 looked lush ! £5.99 bargain really for the quality and size ! Butchers who made it gotta make a profit from it . Mc Donald’s etc pay £7+ for a rancid dry burger on its own
Very true
I always have port pies cold. Never warm or hot.. that pie Andy looks top drawer. Enjoy
Thanks 👍
Yes I would of said it was worth about £3:99 so well over priced at £5:99 in my opinion..but a question for you and all your subscribers, should a pork pie be eaten warm or cold very controversial 🤔👍
I have never had a warm one
Oh no 🙈. Hot pork pie is like eating cold custard…. It’s just wrong 😂
When I was a child I wouldn’t eat pork pies because they had jelly in them,so I have never had one,and now I am sorry I can’t try that one as it looks really good, and no jelly. The only thing I dislike is celery, but a few textures I can’t deal with, and meat jelly is one of them😊
I never liked the jelly as a child, now as I have got older I don’t mind it
It's only 2 quid more than a Dickinson And Morris pie from the supermarket and look at the reviews for that, they're quite mixed. Worth the extra, occasionally.
Definitely 👍
That looked nice mate bet that would be nice too with a bit of brown sauce or a bit of a salad with it especially in the summer
It was top, really sounds nice 👍
I don't like pork pies personally, but you can tell that one was worth the money by the sheer size and weight, Andy👍
It was good
Back when I was a little more flush I made a Pork and Egg Gala Loaf, I ground all the Pork myself from Loin steaks, Back Bacon and some Belly Pork, cost me nearly £25 to make, but it was amazing!
That really sounds nice 👍
I’ve no opinion buddy cause I’ve never seen them on sale over here in Ireland. Shame I suppose. Looks great but don’t think I’d pay the price for something so small. Need brown sauce though. 👍
Thanks
I was there today mate 👍🏻. Got some bacon, steak, ribs and oh yes a pork pie. Thanks so much for the recommendation Andy 👍🏻
Thanks hope you enjoy it, it’s good let me know 👍
I love a pork pie with apple sauce on the side 😋
Sounds nice
@@fatandy its a classic pairing pork and apple but you could have pickle or and condinent you want. On the other hand with a quality pork pie like that a condiment will spoil the actual taste
Looks good Andy but no jelly? Why don't they put jelly in pork pies any more, they are not the same without it.
I don’t know
@FatAndy - Looks nice, I like a Pork Pie with some Colman's English Mustard.
Sounds good
A luxury....let's call it a luxury. Everybody is entitled to one luxury, every now and then.😉
Definitely 👍
Looks yummy but does it have any jelly in it? Can't seem to find an old fashioned one anymore 😔
No it didn’t 👍
Nearly half a kilo of home baked pork pie for £5.99... If it's that good mate, it's well worth it. It looked as solid as a brick. All the best to you Andy 👍
Thanks really appreciate it 👍
It looks superb! The best pork pie ever?
It’s one of the best I have tasted 👍
Andy i would pay that if its that good it would make a cracking Ploughmans or spend £8 on some burgerchain which i dont go to so people think local business or multinationals still your call great vlog Thans Andy.
Thanks yeah when you look at what you pay at a burger restaurant, I would rather have a pork pie 👍
£5.99 all day for that pastry and pork sensation, that boy can eat!!
👍
Looks really good I bet you will never buy another shop bought one again after that one Andy the water crust pasty must of been good with the pork money well spent there
Thanks
lol a sharer your carrying a cat upstairs to give it a bath (having a laugh) id eat that on me own fab vlog guv
Thanks really appreciate it 👍
Missing the jelly for me.
👍
Yes that looks lovely but where is the good old jelly that these bangers used to have and for that price disappointing but cool video.
Thanks, yeah don’t seem to put jelly in anymore 👍
i agree .. sod that for 5.99..... ridiculous.😂😂 34% pork.
👍
No , I wouldn't pay £6 for a pork pie all the time but as a treat , yes I would . You get what you pay for and top quality isn't cheap . With a top quality picalily phoarrrr
Sounds good 👍
🎉🎉Hi All🎉🎉
Hi 👋
think M&S do similar prices, but not guaranteed same quality!!
👍
It’s a bit disappointing to not have the jelly. Not really a pork pie. They use the trotters, so nutritious as well. That’s a shame since being a butchers and at £5.99 I’d expect the traditional jelly and no flavor enhancers.
A lot of pork pies now seem to be missing the jelly
@@fatandyI’ve had plenty pork pies with jelly in them. Waitrose do a nice one and I did get one from tesco (can’t remember the company who made it )/ and it had jelly also. E621 is msg, personally seems like the butcher cheaped out, charged a lot and added flavor enhancers to make it taste good. My local butchers do the same. It’s a bit cheeky since they want us to support them.
Ta...Do me best lol
👍
Best eaten hot IMO.
Definitely 👍
Was there much jelly in it?
Couldn’t see any 👍
@@fatandy That's a shame!
Looks good 👍 fat Andy ❤mate
Thanks
Where is the jelly,🤷🏻♂️
Don’t seem to put jelly in them now
Where is the English mustard.
👍
Saw the label mate....someone can't spell...Antioxidents has no E in it!
😂😂👍 well spotted
MSG in a pork pie?
👍
Antioxidants, sorry!
😂👍
