If anything, it just shows how Treasure paying homage to the wonderful artists under the company and is now finally being branded as the future of YG production.

Jihoon and Yoshi shine the entire mini album. I am happy for them. The group really upgraded with this album. The B-sides really show off their vocal talent.
My favorite part of the song is actually the beginning with jungwhan and then junkyus part, I personally think jungwhans vocals are always underrated and junkyu totally nailed his parts. Pre-chorus is fire as well. I totally missed jaehuyks first part bc he was only shown for a second and then had a hard time telling it was him in the rotating angle as well so until the end of the song I was like where the hell is he 😂 I think its bc of all the similar hairstyles for some members and definitely bc they didnt have alot of close up shots for certain members. I had to rewatch a few times to spot where all of them are. I personally wished doyoung would get more center as a main dancer, but thats me every comeback 😂 I think haruto really shined bc of the set for his rap (same with hyunsuk) it sticks out and obviously bc he just has a lot of charisma & presence. And yes yoshi absolutely nailed this cb for me. Jeongwoo and yedam always shine with their vocals as well and similar to pd, mashiho just has one of my favorite vocal tones in treasure (together with jihoon & asahis underrated vocals). I’ve only heard a couple songs by Treasure……but this is legit one of the best kpop songs I’ve ever heard. The production is incredible and so so clean. The third chorus goes so hard and makes you want to jump around and blast it in the car.

Yess Yoshi ate this up! He seriously does feel like the main rapper here. The fact that he got literally only a few lines in Boy (which happens in groups sometimes) seeing him taking a lot of lines and centre time AND credits, it’s kinda crazy.
I agree with you, Mashiho's voice is very unique and he has the ability to adapt his vocal range depending on the feeling of the song which not everyone can do, I'm still surprised that he's not part of the Main Vocal line, I hope one day YG will let him show more his vocal range, that boy is a whole package
I think this album really suits my concept of TREASURE: The fashionable Hip-Hop instinct filled with sincere youth & cleanness. I really love the whole album and I definitely think the ShowCase/Dance version of JIKJIN would be even more attractive!
Being recognised by one of the large entertainment companies seem pretty lit. It speaks volumes on how PD's insights are relevant. Edit: My new bias in Treasure is that pre-chorus, I keep replaying the song because of it lol. P. S is it just me or that first verse from Yoshinori ended similar to one of Lisa's HYLT verse endings lol.
Mashiho has always been my bias since YGTB. He's an all arounder and I love him soooo much. I'm so happy that people recognizes his skills and talents now instead of just knowing him as our "kijoring"

YGE wasnt lying about the music video budget being around the same amount as BLACKPINK. They are really going all out on this comeback for the boys and I cant wait to see them perform and go on variety shows! This year seems to be looking interesting for YGE, with Treasure coming back and BIGBANG being next, and even BLACKPINK dropping hints of a whole group comeback! Also, with all these rumors about a new YGE girl group dropping this later half of the year, I dont know if I should get my hopes up or not with those said rumors saying the same thing last year..

Some parts of Yoshi's rap is actually a homage to Lisa's rapping style. I love his versatility and ability to write such lyrics the flow so well. Personally, I agree on how PD said that their individuality shone in this era. In other cases, individuality (musicality wise) sets apart the members a bit too much which becomes a problem for coherence all throughout the song but Jikjin got past that and the music production was done very well. I love how Asahi sounds more aggressive here and of course, the colors of the vocals. I believe Jeongwoo has potential to be like DK of seventeen, both vocally and visually. PD has mentioned many times about now DK can wreck everyone when they make him sexy and that's the anticipation I feel for Jeongwoo in the future when they get mature concepts. Also, those LED screens are just one of the high budget stuff in this MV since YG spent so much for Treasure in this MV. The race cars are expensive too. All in all, this is such a large scale comeback and is such a masterpiece. Love this release so much. Hope you do a listening party to the whole mini album PD ^^

i became a teume by watching your ygtb reactions, then your earlier t-map reactions, and then i really fell in deep when i started watching t-map on my own ahead of you. watching any treasure content is so enjoyable and immediately puts me in a good mood, and watching it with you really brightens my day. i’ve commented something similar once or twice on patreon, but this video really reminded me of that. there’s something truly special about these guys. i’m so in love with this song and mv. as an asahi stan, seeing him finally get center position for a chorus felt so rewarding. everyone looks and sounds incredible! can’t wait for the album reaction next month.

no you’re RIGHT, it is Yoshi’s era and song and he deserves it so much i always thought he had so much potential (literally an all rounder with so much charisma) i also thought doyoung really shined for some reason, he got the least lines and screentime but his lines and voice are addictive, not to mention that he’s one of the members with the most presence and best facial expressions, like i noticed him even when he was just dancing in the back

I haven't been really involved in the Teume fandom lately, but know of their comebacks; I have to say this comeback though, they had the best balance and team dynamic yet. I feel like the producers trusted their talent and individualism to make an impact which I didn't get last time. Everyone was noticable, and it doesn't feel... overshadowed or preferential at all (if I had to compare -- it'd be like having to rely on 3Racha having to start and end their songs in the predebut/survival shows day; not a bad thing just very obvious that they were more pressured). In that sense I feel like Yedam has... more room to be free--and not try to blend in. Curiously, I feel like this is also the most YG of their songs so far. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just something noticable. My only minor critique is at 14:09 if they had tried an adlib instead of a falsetto for a better impact, but I also understand that might be an intentional decision. Best comeback so far, can't wait to see more -- and if we can get more..... input from the boys in the future
I think it's more like they were testing the waters for Treasure in the FIRST STEP, so after they got some stabilities between Treasure, Teumes, and the netizens, they decided to have Treasure go all out in this comeback and album.
Agreed that that could have better impact. Perhaps taking out the silent pause after jihoon’s high note into the outro may work well too. Overall well balanced song!
YG knows Form of Therapy makes high-quality content. Thanks a lot for taking the time to get to know Treasure. A lot of the Treasure dance line has interesting vocals, I personally like Junghwan, Doyoung and Mashi ever since YGTB days.

Its incredible that YG and Treasure reached out its a great step and really proves the quality of your work. I believe a lot of other groups are doing the same like in the channel ReacttotheK they ve had a lot of interviews with groups that are really interest. This song is my introduction to TREASURE and I heard it while listening to the K-Pop Playlist on Apple Music. And I am so glad I did repeated this song 10x and then finally saw the MV and I'm just in awe. Will most definitely be listening to ALL their music I am sure I won't be disappointed.
This song has been on loop the whole day for me Treasure are my 2nd ult group but for some reason judging by the teasers I thought I wouldn't like it that much, but now I'm OBSESSED with Jikjin and ngl it might possibly even be my fav title track by them I love the contrast but at the same time cohesion between the groovy verses, the super emotional sounding prechorus and lastly the hard-hitting chorus and outro, it's just so good and addicting it's crazy I also feel like everyone looks the best they ever have in the mv (especially Jaehyuk, I wish we saw him a bit more, but anytime he was on screen I couldn't stop staring at him and he isn't even my bias) and the line distribution also feels better than for past title tracks even though there's still room for improvement of course

I agree with you, Mashiho's voice is very unique and he has the ability to adapt his vocal range depending on the feeling of the song which not everyone can do, I'm still surprised that he's not part of the Main Vocal line, I hope one day YG will let him show more his vocal range, that boy is a whole package

I think this album really suits my concept of TREASURE: The fashionable Hip-Hop instinct filled with sincere youth & cleanness.
I really love the whole album and I definitely think the ShowCase/Dance version of JIKJIN would be even more attractive!
While their title tracks are bop ass songs, the bsides are fresh comfort songs.

YGE wasnt lying about the music video budget being around the same amount as BLACKPINK. They are really going all out on this comeback for the boys and I cant wait to see them perform and go on variety shows!
This year seems to be looking interesting for YGE, with Treasure coming back and BIGBANG being next, and even BLACKPINK dropping hints of a whole group comeback! Also, with all these rumors about a new YGE girl group dropping this later half of the year, I dont know if I should get my hopes up or not with those said rumors saying the same thing last year..

Some parts of Yoshi's rap is actually a homage to Lisa's rapping style. I love his versatility and ability to write such lyrics the flow so well.
Personally, I agree on how PD said that their individuality shone in this era. In other cases, individuality (musicality wise) sets apart the members a bit too much which becomes a problem for coherence all throughout the song but Jikjin got past that and the music production was done very well. I love how Asahi sounds more aggressive here and of course, the colors of the vocals. I believe Jeongwoo has potential to be like DK of seventeen, both vocally and visually. PD has mentioned many times about now DK can wreck everyone when they make him sexy and that's the anticipation I feel for Jeongwoo in the future when they get mature concepts.
Also, those LED screens are just one of the high budget stuff in this MV since YG spent so much for Treasure in this MV. The race cars are expensive too.
All in all, this is such a large scale comeback and is such a masterpiece. Love this release so much. Hope you do a listening party to the whole mini album PD ^^

i became a teume by watching your ygtb reactions, then your earlier t-map reactions, and then i really fell in deep when i started watching t-map on my own ahead of you. watching any treasure content is so enjoyable and immediately puts me in a good mood, and watching it with you really brightens my day. i’ve commented something similar once or twice on patreon, but this video really reminded me of that. there’s something truly special about these guys. i’m so in love with this song and mv. as an asahi stan, seeing him finally get center position for a chorus felt so rewarding. everyone looks and sounds incredible! can’t wait for the album reaction next month.

no you’re RIGHT, it is Yoshi’s era and song and he deserves it so much i always thought he had so much potential (literally an all rounder with so much charisma)
i also thought doyoung really shined for some reason, he got the least lines and screentime but his lines and voice are addictive, not to mention that he’s one of the members with the most presence and best facial expressions, like i noticed him even when he was just dancing in the back

I haven't been really involved in the Teume fandom lately, but know of their comebacks; I have to say this comeback though, they had the best balance and team dynamic yet. I feel like the producers trusted their talent and individualism to make an impact which I didn't get last time. Everyone was noticable, and it doesn't feel... overshadowed or preferential at all (if I had to compare -- it'd be like having to rely on 3Racha having to start and end their songs in the predebut/survival shows day; not a bad thing just very obvious that they were more pressured). In that sense I feel like Yedam has... more room to be free--and not try to blend in. Curiously, I feel like this is also the most YG of their songs so far. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just something noticable.
My only minor critique is at 14:09 if they had tried an adlib instead of a falsetto for a better impact, but I also understand that might be an intentional decision.
Best comeback so far, can't wait to see more -- and if we can get more..... input from the boys in the future
I think it's more like they were testing the waters for Treasure in the FIRST STEP, so after they got some stabilities between Treasure, Teumes, and the netizens, they decided to have Treasure go all out in this comeback and album.

This song is my introduction to TREASURE and I heard it while listening to the K-Pop Playlist on Apple Music. And I am so glad I did repeated this song 10x and then finally saw the MV and I'm just in awe. Will most definitely be listening to ALL their music I am sure I won't be disappointed.

Treasure are my 2nd ult group but for some reason judging by the teasers I thought I wouldn't like it that much, but now I'm OBSESSED with Jikjin and ngl it might possibly even be my fav title track by them
I love the contrast but at the same time cohesion between the groovy verses, the super emotional sounding prechorus and lastly the hard-hitting chorus and outro, it's just so good and addicting it's crazy
I also feel like everyone looks the best they ever have in the mv (especially Jaehyuk, I wish we saw him a bit more, but anytime he was on screen I couldn't stop staring at him and he isn't even my bias) and the line distribution also feels better than for past title tracks even though there's still room for improvement of course
