The fact that almost half of TREASURE didn’t make it in YG but YG didn’t lose their chance and called the boys back again. It’s just fate. I really give credits to YG for eyeing talent and didn’t give up on some of these boys. 😭💙
I agree but who are the almost half of treasure that you're referring to? 😭 I can only think of Jihoon who left yg and was brought back and asahi and yoshi who were eliminated in ygtb.
@@o.o2543 if you wtached ygtb you can see asahi, yoshi, and jaehyuk got eliminated. a lot of them almost didnt make it when there was a final round and only 7 were announced.

Trivia: During weverse live by hyunsuk yesterday, VOLKNO & HOLD IT IN, was a solo song for Hyunsuk, it was approved by the YG producers & management but then he was so pity that he will do it alone so he decided to rewrite the VOLKNO and want to do it with the rapper line.
it's the way hyunsuk can just save hold it in and volkno for his solo but he thought it'll be good to sing it with his members, he's very selfless. he really want what's the best for the group. Our Uri Leader hyunsuk 🔥🥺 Instead, He was gifted by the YG a bigger studio now,, they gave him a reward for working hard. He recently moved to his new bigger studio as per jaehyuk it was like a museum. I guess we will expect more about his marvels collection in his own and bigger studio
NO ABSOLUTE WAY- listening to whatever YG does for treasure makes me doubt if this is the same company handling blackpink😭i mean they treat our boys so fairly ever since their trainee days, from having legit more than enough budget and productions on their cbs, having them write their own songs or at least contribute to it, they can put forth their ideas/concepts for the songs, having freedom to release diverse music, etc. they have a lot of creative freedom and i'm glad cuz their talents are not getting wasted by YG as they do with bp :'(
A lil correction, it wasnt volkno that was supposed to be hyunsuk solo song. it was a different song, and the song was already on its final stage. but then hyunsuk thought it would be better if they made a new song that could be sung by the rap line together.
@@mugdhamasram3068 Girl groups just don't have freedom creativity in YG. I mean, even 2NE1 were not being able to have creative freedom, while all of their boy groups got the freedom to do so. Their new girl group that they're going to debut this year won't have a creative freedom as well lol It's like a tradition for the girl groups overall in YG.
Volkno wasnt his solo song. He said there is this one solo track (means that an untitled track that he create on his own unlike others unreleased that he prob collaborate with asahi or other rapline from beginning like some that he shows on tmap) and that track turns out to be good, so he said he wants to do it with rapline instead. So he works with producer dee.p and rapline and produce the track into a whole new song. Probably lots of new arrnangement and composing and becomes volkno. And last one the museum like room said by jaehyuk is not his new yg studio but his room in the dorm.
@@ukiss4ever7 OMG but isn't it so unfair to the girls!? Practicing hard all those years for nothing? Does it even make sense to have this kinda treatment to ggs? I believe they can do so much better than what they are doing now if they were given a lil more freedom for their music :(

Not only have I stanned Treasure from even before there debut date was announced but they were one of the very first k-pop groups I stanned therefore Treasure has a very special place in my heart and are one of my ult. Seeing them mature over the years not just as good humans but as musicians makes me so happy and proud, and them starting to have more control over what they put out in terms of music just adds on to everything. P.s. they debuted on my birthday, their debut was the best gift I have ever recieved

THE ALBUM IS IMMACULATE!!! their versatility as artists is insane, and they are not afraid to showcase it by trying a variety of genre. from hiphop songs to rock songs, they slayed it, and even added a little bit of twist, like volkno being a rap song with rock and hiphop instrumentals, and hold it in - a sad song with an upbeat vibe.
i'm really glad YG let the boys do their thing on this album. we got producer, lyricist, & composer asahi, producer & lyricist hyunsuk, and lyricists yoshi & haruto.
AND the vocals of everybody :') they are so talented. Treasure deserves more recognition. They are not just kpop idols but amazing artists who genuinely love making music and performing.
I think it's their Japanese influence which is why Thank You is such a bright upbeat song with sad lyrics. That's a signature combo in Japanese music that I grew up loving as an anime fan. I love it so much!!
NO SKIP ALBUM. Treasure always slays. Im so happy to see them growing😢 and YG letting them produce their own music.

Indeed a no skip album.. and this album were produced by the member. Asahi, Hyunsuk, Yoshi, and Haruto are the main producer for most of the songs in this album.. so proud of these talented baby

hold it in is hyunsuk wrote to himself four years ago, when the treasure box ended yg did not immediately announce that he could debut, the lyrics of "she" should be alluding to "debut", when I understood this, I was even more heartbroken when I listened to this song🥺🥺 I am proud of hyunsuk for his songwriting ability and his selflessness. （LOVE your reaction💕 and sry for my poor English~）

At this point its just pure idiocracy not recognizing TREASURE. Their musical range and undeniable vocal & rap prowess really showed up here.
In the future, they will be more recognized and their group name will speak for itself. TREASURE indeed.

Salute to our producing kings! I swear, groups who produce their own shit are immediately a level above. It's when idols become legit "artists".
Treasure’s rap line has always been involved in the music making process for the group, since their debut and a few members here and there though to a limited extent but this is the first time that they have been involved heavily in writing, producing and arranging the songs mostly the rap line and Asahi. Hope to see more members in the credits in the future.

I’m someone who decided long ago that I would never follow too deeply a K-pop group, then at the beginning of this year I discovered Ateez; Seventeen, after many years of knowing them they were able to capture me during their comeback with HOT at last; after that I said to myself: ENOUGH! Just do the way you’ve always done, listen to title track of the group and stop there, if you liked it saved it and download it. That’s it.
But no, when “HELLO” MV released, they surprised me a lot and I don’t know why but decided also to listen the rest of their new album and my gawd, I’ve just made my third best decision ever of this year (musically side) wow. For me “Hold it in” is a SOTY contender, I want to point out that in MY SOTY contender list there are also “old” songs, released last year and/or released in the previous years. As I said I’m relatively new into K-pop so for me “ANSWER” and “TURBULENCE” are in that list, for example.
Anyway, I can definitely say that I found a TREASURE. WOW, listening this album was an amazing experience, the fact that just remembering “Hold it in” gave me goosebumps means that this song is qualified to be on my SOTY list. And VOLKNO omg, and I thought “GUERRILLA” and the rest of the ATEEZ’s new album was explosive but that song, boombastic!

Doyoung has been shining this comeback. He was given the chance to have more lines and have more screentime and it was able to show how skilled he is through vocals, dance and charisma.

all of the songs in this album are perfect for a concert setting and i think that's intentional cause they're going to have a japan tour in november and i think they're also hinting on a world tour so..... they're soooo smart for this.

I've never listened to another treasure song. I am personally more of a gg person. but I can appreciate a banger. and I'm telling u there's smth about hello.... when I heard it for the first time I nearly cried. it took me back to a time, to a kind of music that I haven't experienced for the first time in years. this early 2010s synth pop sound is so nostalgic to me, it reminded me of all the avicii songs i grew up with on the radio. this song is so special to me, it takes me back to a time in my life where there was nothing to worry about, and songs that do that are real treasures

It was really a no-skip album..this album really showcased their identity not only an idol but as an artist and human being..the emotions got me..the feels of YG artists are in this album..nostalgic feeling of Bigbang Ikon..wow..
You can really tell Hyunsuk is so well in rapping. He knows how to glide through the music and using the tempo very well. My Man!

Hold It In is probably my favorite track in this album. I LOVE 'Hello' to the core but Hold It In just puts a dagger in your heart and it stays right there. The message was intensified becaus of their vocals. My fave parts are of Junkyu. I just cried in pain even though I'm not broken hearted. 🤣😭
If u notice in Volkno they mention movies that have alot of iconic trios. For example, Haruto says "Three idiots gathered together Trio". Trio is a movie realesed in 1950. Yoshi says "When three idiots get together Hangover". Hangover is also a movie with an iconic trio. Finally, Hyunsuk says, "When three idiots get together No Way Home". No Way Home is the Spider-man novie with all three Spider-mans. idk thought it was pretty genius. 🤷🏽♀️

The fact that Asahi and Haruto produced that song dedicated to Mashidam, they're so sweet, their bonds are strong. Most of their songs lately are actually dedicated to Mashidam. I already listed to it while a go and i survived, but after they announced Mashidam leaving YG, those songs hits differently and it is more painful. Forever 0t12!🥺💎
i appreciate this comeback so much. even though mashi and yedam are missing and it's bittersweet, it's such a good song & super bright which is different for them. there's just something special about treasure
Jihoon killed me this album especially those harmonies and high notes in hold it in. HE REALLY SHOULD HAVE HIS OWN SOLO SONG OR BE IN A SUB UNIT TO SHOWCASE HIS VOCALS EVEN MORE

I'm actually Bigbang's fan but when they were away for military. YGTB started watched YGTB without missing even a single episode. Waited for 2years for them to debut and watched them grew through TMAP. I'm very older than them but Treasure are my brothers that I only want to give the best. Every comeback I'm always proud to be Teume. I consider myself as their sister bcs they're very young than me. They grew up physically infront of our eyes but most importantly they grew up as great artists. Treasure is the first ever artists for me to seeing them growing, ohh well Bieber too 😂
Asahi is my bias. I've always notice his great rapsy vocal & always wanted to hearing more from him and finally Asahi got a chance to show his amazing vocal to Teumes. I LOVE TREASURE. I'll always do my best to support them & make them at the top. I've trust in Treasure 💙

It's so good. Like I love a sad bop, and these particular two sad bops are so beautiful, the sound, the lyrics, THE VOCALS. So good. And we definitely need Hello, Volkno and Clap! to shake off the overwhelming weepies. Volkno is honestly one of the coolest kpop rap tracks I've heard, I love the rock sound with the hip hop vibes and rap. It makes sense now Hyunsuk mentioned it was originally a solo track for him before it was reworked as a rap unit track. It has a real Hyunsuk feel, but that just makes it so much cooler to hear Yoshi and Haruto on it.
The whole thing is just so good. Like who doesn't love an album that makes you go through a whole rollercoaster; happy happy, want to punch things, happy happy clap clap, sad, sadder.
