    The gas pedal on this gun is the issue. It is far to forward on the gun which makes you compromise a tight grip for the ability to get your thumb on the pedal. If it were a takedown lever pedal, then it would be useful. I suggest you remove it and focus on a tighter grip versus the far forward pedal.

    As a bonus telling info on the gas pedal and magwell you have installed would be pretty helpful for people who want to do similar upgrades. Do you have a holster you would recommend with that combo of gun/ gas pedal? Appreciate you doing all the video and slow mo work.

      I’ll for sure have to update the description with all that info. Appreciate your time and comment! So on the holster, I had to have one custom made from border town holsters as I couldn’t find a company that had a mold for just the macro with the Tactical Development Pro ledge by itself without the TLR7/8 light on it. They ordered a pro ledge by itself to make the mold for me.

  • @marklower007
    @marklower007 Před 8 měsíci +1

    Not sure if I'm seeing it right but looks like ur letting the trigger all the way out after your shots. If so practice just letting it out until it resets and staying at that wall. Makes for shorter trigger pull for follow up shots. If you are already doing that then I apologize for being annoying lol

    • @PhatTactical
      @PhatTactical  Před 8 měsíci

    What was your bullet weight? I read or watched somewhere the length coordinates with that. The lighter (115g) go with the shorter spring vs heavier (147g) goes with the longer spring. But I can’t find it anywhere again. Haha. I have a DPM for my AR9 and just picked one up for my 365x. Great job with the video.

    • @PhatTactical
      @PhatTactical  Před rokem

    • @joewalker6931
      @joewalker6931 Před rokem

      Nice. Let me know how it goes. I’m really on the fence about getting this for my Shadow 2 and TS2 for USPSA. Not sure how much difference it will make in recoil due to the guns already heavy weights, but will definitely extend the life on the wear and tear of the slide.

  • @Batty218
    @Batty218 Před 9 měsíci

    maybe somehow figure out a way to hold the slide sturdy enough while applying pressure to a larger pound gauge reader on the grip module. if that makes sense

  • @bltefft
    @bltefft Před 9 měsíci

    Mine came in and I'm gonna use the shorter of the springs first. I'm wanting to reduce the force needed to rack the slide. My DPM is for the micro-compact, not the XL. Mine only contains 3 springs and 3 little washers, that are not longish like yours.

    • @PhatTactical
      @PhatTactical  Před 9 měsíci

      Yeah all systems are different as far as how many springs and cups. I would try the 2 extreme sizes 1st to see if you can tell a difference. Longest and shortest

    What’s up carnal. Have you ever had any issues with this system at all? Maybe As far as the bullets not reloading into the chamber? Please let me know, I want to put this into my EDC. Thanks! God bless

    • @PhatTactical
      @PhatTactical  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Only issue I’ve seen here and there is when I insert a mag and release the slide with the slide catch button, it doesn’t seat all the way SOMETIMES, but if you rack the slide back to make it go back in battery it’s normal. So just look out for that.

    • @isofly28
      @isofly28 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@PhatTactical so you never had an issue with shooting and jamming when trying to feed a bullet into chamber ? Have you ever shot 124g through there? My friend had an issue , but I’m thinking it’s his spring in his mag. When shooting and when it wants reloads a round into the chamber, the bullet seems to be nose down and pistol is jammed. Almost seems like the spring didn’t push up the bullet to reload fast enough. He also has a +2 base on his 17 round mag with OEM internals.

    • @PhatTactical

    Thanks for this video, but my dear brother in Christ, it’s a 9mm- you have a built-in compensator, a gas pedal, AND a recoil reduction spring kit. I think you need to hit the gym and work on shoulder strength and/or fire some hotter / bigger rounds. This level of overkill is like putting a roll cage and racing slicks on a Honda civic.
