Did I Make the Jump at Damajagua Falls At Amber Cove!?!

- It's day 5 on board the Caribbean Princess, and we're at the Port of Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic today! We start the day with specialty coffees and breakfast at the International Cafe. We head off the ship and walk straight to the taxi service where our driver from Alfredo Transfers Tours Pop Services is waiting to take us to our planned excursion at The Damajagua Waterfalls! We quickly get geared up with a helmet and lifevest! We paid extra to have a personal photographer come along with us to capture all of the excitement of the day! We had Sammy and he was awesome!! The hike up to the waterfalls is very strenuous, but it is definitely worth it once you get up there and start jumping and sliding down the waterfalls! After making our way back to the entrance of Damajagua Falls, we grabbed some lunch at the buffet, as this was part of the package we purchased. Before heading back to port, our driver gave us some shots of the local Dominican drink, mama juana! It was pretty good! We explored the Amber Cove port before getting back on the ship to get ready for dinner. Tonight's dinner is at Planks BBQ, our second casual dining venue. It was so good! Tonight is also the Back to the 80's deck party! However, due to weather, it was moved inside to the Piazza.

When I was on that ship 2 years ago, Planks wasn't open because they didn't have enough crew to staff it. Disappointed about that.
Glad they didn't play the Journey song. But they had the Bon Jovi song that made you and everyone else lose their minds.
We really enjoyed Planks. So much food and it was good! Sorry it was closed for you, that stinks.
Lol Can't Stop Believin' is almost mandatory on every cruiseship! Especially on 80's night! But yes, Bon Jovi was fun. Amazing what I like now, I remember I couldn't stand these songs when they came out, lol!

How did you know you weren’t gonna slide into the side of the rock. I want to a natural water park in Arizona .. well it was one slide and I slammed my toe into the side of the rock.. hurt so bad
