  • Robbie from Premier Lawns explains how to boost your lawn with this one thing. It's one of the best kept secrets in lawn care. Humic acid is fantastic as a soil improver for both clay soil and sandy soil. It is a soil conditioner and bio-catalyst and bio-stimulant for plant growth and the secret sauce to the perfect lawn
Humic acid helps the soil by boosting levels of microbial activity, it provides carbon, which is a food source for beneficial soil microbes. By boosting microbial activity, humic acid also boosts the availability of nutrients both in the soil and in the additional fertilisers you use on your lawn

Add 50ml humic acid approx and 125ml seaweed to 6.25L of water this will give you enough to treat 100m2

Hi Robbie, great stuff with the videos, keep them coming.
Question for you: would you be able to do a video on a calendar / timeline of key tasks for the Irish lawn i.e. when to scarify, aerate & overseed, when to fertilise, when to put down weed / moss killer. So much info on the internet but mostly for American lawns and not much for the amateur Irish gardener in terms of calendars and work to be completed.
    Thanks!

Great video Robbie. I love these 2 resources you make acid and seaweed or liquid kelp. The hue make acid helps unlock nutrients that are blocked in the soil and I always put it down after fertilizing it seems like the uptake is much better. I like using liquid kelp or seaweed after knowing it seems like it has a healing effect on grass and stimulates root growth. Thanks for your videos they help all Us DIY'S Get pointed in the right direction with our lawns.
