I got some polo shirts from work as uniform, they fit in every step perfectly... except the length which is at the top of the crotch. This is a size L, so I tried XL and it fits correctly in the crotch area, but is now too long on the sleeves and too baggy on the torso area
Ideally a size Large is what I should be wearing, but I feel like it's too constricting, so I wear a size XL because I like a baggier fit. When shopping for polos online (Polo Ralph Lauren), most of the time, the "model" is wearing a size Medium. I feel like I'm wearing the wrong size but it's more comfortable than a size Large.

Tbh, it's difficult to recommend a brand based on just your height alone. Uniqlo's pretty decent even with asian sizing but the ultimate trick is to get one that fits you on the shoulders and get it tailored on the sleeves and length based on your preference!
@kennethrobinson2941 try both on and decide which fit you prefer around the chest and waist area. If it's too tight, then that leaves you with the only option of XL. But good news is you can always get them altered for cheap too!

I just never can find a shirt that fits me but I am a similar bodytype as you, lol. Either the polo is too loose or too long.
