To round out summer hiking season, a group of us got together to complete Black Tusk in Whistler, BC. I have always heard of this hike being a hefty one in British Columbia and have been interested in seeing it for myself. I can now check this one off my list with some do's and don'ts noted for the future.
Black Tusk is one of the lengthier hikes around Whistler, but the views were incredible. I can't even imagine what it would've been like on a completely clear day! I will never get tired of the mountains surrounding us here in Vancouver, and am glad I got to complete 2 beautiful hikes this year. Garibaldi Lake was a truly memorable activity in 2022.
Do comment if you have any questions about this hike! I am happy to answer based on my first time experience.

What a pity not scrambling up the last part of The Black Tusk-chimney, but considering it’s the first time, good enough to the base.😊
It was really windy and foggy that day! We definitely weren’t prepared to go up to the end 😅
@@tiannabrammer I scrambled up to the top in my third time to Black Tusk.
Nice, if I ever do it again I would be ready for it 👌
Thanks for the video. How long did it take overall? lets say you rest 30 mins at the top to enjoy the view. How long do we need to bank for it?
I would say it took around 8 hours
👍👍🇱🇰
why not going to the summit?
It was quite windy and cold at the top. Most of our group didn’t have walking sticks or equipment to ensure safety!
Drinking open liquor in a park. Bad 😵💫
Your not canadian then
