I think that is the 1st convict I have ever heard be 💯 % honest! She did her time, realized the prison life is not for her. She is trying to better herself with getting a free education. I hope she does well.

If you want parole this is how it's done. Also after hearing the facts 25 years is way too harsh of a sentence.

In the recovery community, we have a saying...you never, ever listen to what an addict or recidivist says...you watch what he or she DOES.

That's everyone, really. One thing that I liked hearing - if it's true - is that she's saving money for the future. She sounds realistic about there being difficulties that she may have to overcome and she sounds like someone who thinks maturely.
I sincerely hope that's the case.

"Actions speak louder than words", it's a general view, not limited to "Recovery". I've actually never heard it used in recovery & I'm over a decade. But it's definitely sound advice in any walk of life✌️

Lol they don't ! She applied for a grant thru DMACC that is only offered to 10 individuals per year and funding availability... I personally believe and have seen the statistics that education greatly reduces recidivism ❤❤❤😊

This was a good one. However, I understand why the guy asked the question about leaving with the victims in the car because I wondered the same thing. If you listen to the way the offender worded it, she says...'I drove the two individuals away from the crime' right as she was talking about what she did with their phones. So, there was no transition back to the co-defendants, nor did she say ... I was the get away driver, etc. I eventually understood who she meant as she explained where they went.

They talk about how great she's doing, and how "outstanding" this interview was because they already knew they were releasing her. It didnt matter what she said during this interview. There's been so many people who have went before these puppets loaded w great prison work and programs completed, and they still didnt let them out. Then there have been people who had horrible interviews and didnt complete all 4 steps of the sex offender program (they claim all 4 MUST be completed) and they say, "Oh, well u did an excellent interview today, you've worked hard, blah blah", then grant them parole. So this is all BULLSHT!

She seems to have changed her life around but she was a CNA before she committed these crimes. So it wasn't a lack of intelligence that led her to now. I'm sort of torn. She seems sincere. I think they will parole her.
