As someone who has lived in the Verde Valley for over 40 years I did not know of this beautiful destination. My wife and I have hiked many of the places you have videoed, and since I lost my lovely lamb I have watched many videos of hikes around AZ, Utah, and southwestern Colorado. They were all good, but your skill is beyond anything they have done. The shots, close-ups & underwater views as well as prolonged panoramas added so much to the experience. This endeavor was especially satisfying because of the lady that was successful in navigating the terrain just as well as the macho males, who took good care of her. I salute you all!

Now that was an EPIC hike! That's a trail you would really need to know what to expect in order to do. Not only were the water shoes needed, but the life jackets were a smart idea! I'll have to keep that idea in my mind if we ever do a hike like this!

Alejandro : we watched some videos and none were too helpful , but yours truly helped us a lot and also it truly gave us strength to keep going .. we would not had made it if we didn ‘t watched ur vid and have ur energy still inside us for the trip ( ps : we camped overnight ) …. if people read this , do not trust all trails telling u is a 3:45 minutes hike , we warranty u is not , u need not less than probably 10 hrs to make it to the falls and come back to ur car , and if u want to enjoy the falls for some time probably 12 hrs hiking trip , and that “ If “ u make it to the falls , and as Alejandro said and showed on his video , absolutely not easy .. Planned accordingly people !!! and Alejandro : Gracias eternas !!!!!! Ger from Argentina y Kate from South Carolina 💪🙏🌵🚶🏼🚶♀️🌿

Do you have to have a permit to go there ? and what month of the year did you go? Also, can you camp and stay the night and hike out the next morning?

How long of a hike would you say?
Question! Is there a trail that you follow? Or did you follow a map type? I need to know!! Lol I’m going this Saturday
There’s a trail to get down to the creek, after that there is no trail. I recommend you to download the map in the All Trails app. Please do not go alone, and have floating devices. This is a difficult hike and also dangerous. Be safe and have fun! Let me know how it goes.

How long is the hike in and the hike out?
It really depends on every person. Prepare to be out there all day, I took us about 3 hours just to get to the waterfall, you till have to hike back! Going back is more challenging in my opinion because you are going uphill to get out of the canyon.

Yo went there today got stranded for 5 hrs me and my girl be careful going up there tow truck found us later barely got signal so if u go go prepared are oil pan got hit by a rock and all the oil came out we had to push are suv till finally the tow truck found us thunder lightning hot be careful
It has become a zoo there! I used to go when no people could be found.
