Its an act, he played this all over the country hundreds of times. You think a comedian actually loses it in his own joke, every time he says it...Cheap Comedy , full actor mode, no clever jokes. He used to have great comedy bits, this whole special was terrible tho. But he is famous so he gets awarded now for pretty much anything.
It’s an hour+ long performance, it’s not unbelievable that he’d break even on a Netflix special no matter how many times he’s performed it. Humans are very good at discerning between rehearsed laughter and genuine laughter even on a subconscious level
