Great change of movement from roundabout to up and down by the shaped wooden head of the motor. Never seen that before.

I am concerned about the circular wood spacer you improvised......the screw to wood to metal motor shaft I think makes the wood material weak and may not last considering the pressure it will be subjected to....using that machine. Great idea BTW !!!

I like the ideas but the flimsy materials used are dangerous when they fsil snd disintegrate. If no metals, at least use solid hard wood.

The lathe build is ingenious , but there are elements missing that would make it difficult to replicate. The build of the chuck from the motor (where did all these parts come from and how did you fit them together). The wiring of the motor to the switch / controller -- this is all missing

man that was hard to watch. and the last one seemed like it had too many parts for just a wood lathe. could've just skipped the angle grinder head and went straight from the motor to the center head.

I also should mention that the blade is only going to cut on the down stroke and the maximum power here is dependent on the spring. The grease will be a nice woody paste after a few uses.
